There was no confirmation of how to enter the flat which a passcode is needed and no one emailed to notify me. Also I booked for 5 people and there were only 4 beds!

Decent apart-hotel for the price
A decent apart-hotel for a stay in Leuven. Easy check in, but other rooms were quite noisy which made it difficult to sleep. However, an affordable option for a business stay with more amenities in the room than the average hotel room.

The apartment was big, the sofa comfy, the WiFi good. But overall tatty. The bed was comfy, but it was two singles we had to push together - so not great for a couple. The bathroom was very dated, bit of mould etc. But shower good. We had a few electrical issues - cooker tripped out one evening, and bathroom lighting was archaic. Good central location. And good answers to questions we had on email. But guy who came to our door asking questions spoke no English at all. For every positive, there was a negative. Wouldn't stay again.

A spacious sute, but not very clean and only a partially working refrigerator. There is no reception on site and room cleaning costs extra. The elevator was cranky and tended to stop between floors, so nerve-wracking, but always worked in the end. The location is outstanding, with access to all central venues and very quite at night, but there was a children's daycare opposite with almost continuously crying children during the day - rather disturbing.

Brilliant location - these units could be great
These units are in desperate need of servicing but the location is only a few minutes walk from the historic center, so could be OK if just given a tiny bit of care. I would not recommend these units until basic repairs are made, broken lights and appliances repaired, exposed cabling boxed up, and the entrance and staircase cleaned up from litter and the main door repaired. I only rented two units, other units in the block may be in a better condition.

First of all, the air condition is broken. and I found the fan, which is also broken. On one bed it's frame is broken. The elevator was broken for several days, and it always smelled like gas. The room looks clean enough, but it smells mold or fungus. After spending about 2 weeks I could not put up with this smell anymore. I was afraid I would become sick, so I decided to change hotels on the way of my period I paied. I tried to call the number shown in the instruction, but it did not work at all. So I never recommend anybod to stay here, never ever. Do not make same mistake as I did !!!

The hotel is not so hard to be found but not so easy as well. Being big enough to host its occupants is fair, but the issue with it is that it hasn’t been equipped with air conditioning at all which makes it uncomfortable when temperatures rise above 28 degrees Celsius. We’ve been given some towels that were leaving traces of cloth on our skin, so cheap toilet necessities on that part were offered. Apart from the lack of any air con which is vital and most needed in summertime, it was a decent stay though for that peace of mind and personal comfort I would personally recommend a better place.

I stayed here with my family and it was excellent value. Close to train station, middle of city centre to restaurants and shops. Room was clean and came with two bedrooms, large sitting and dining area with kitchenette including two burners, microwave, electric kettle and coffee maker with utensils and plates for 6. The biggest concern is that the suites are in need of redecoration as wallpaper was beginning to peel. There is a small lift to access rooms on upper floors and I found this more practical than using the stairs which are a tight and steep spiral. The suites are located in a small courtyard which was quiet, and you'll find a bicycle shop and what looked like a very nice fondue restaurant which always seemed buzzing with customers. The suites had good WiFi on all floors, and there is a small vending machine on the ground floor. TV options were catered more for French, German and Spanish speaking viewers, though there was CNN and sky news. The suites offered a late check out for €20 until 1300, rather than standard 10am, or €50 until 1700. You can also check in earlier, but I forgot the quoted price. Overall, I would happily stay here again with my family.

I sent an email to hotel to check my request twice but i did not get any feedback yet. It seems like no one has interest on guest’s complain or request. I felt very uncomfortable in this. It was about daily house clean fees and they charged extra day of house clean fee.

Good location close to the center of Leuven. It got the description of a "suite", just, with the facilities provided. The room felt a bit shabby, with some peeling wallpaper, blown light bulbs etc. The provided coffee pot was filthy. Internet was OK but not great. Just average overall.

The location in Leuven is very convenient and the arrangements for access to the apartment were clear and efficient. I would have liked an earlier check-in time than 16.00 but the facilities inside the apartment were very good. Well worth a stay for a short business trip.

Hotel clean on arrival. Good access instructions. Car park close by. Second bedroom off lounge with a curtain as a door. Lamp not working in bedroom and twin beds although had requested a double. No window in second 'bedroom ' so very warm ( in September). No plug in bathroom sink. Early check out at 10am- option for late check out was expensive.

Better alternatives out there for the money... Unclean, un-maintained; half of the bed slats were missing, half of the lights didn't work. Glasses unclean. Toilet had... Plumbing issues. Sink hung away from the wall. I stayed when it was hot. You WILL get eaten by mosquitoes if you attempt to stay cool by opening the windows. Terrible night's sleep. I'm afraid I won't be staying again.

It was OK.
Be aware that this is a minimal service establishment. I didn't have any problems with my room but, if I had, it would have taken a while to get them dealt with since someone would have had to drive over to the hotel. They merely leave a room key for you in a safe. The area around the hotel is safe but dull at night, since it's a shopping district. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the nightlife district, though. The hotel is also fairly close to the train station, which is convenient. However, the hotel lost hot water for several hours, lost power at least twice, though only for about a minute each time, and the (for some reason 8) wi-if networks were brutally slow - with a download speed averaging less than half a MB per second. Nevertheless, if you can book at a sale price, it's worth it.

There is no service to speak off - you get an email with the code for the front door and the safe where you find the key. We never (in three days) met an employee. the location is close to the interesting part of the center, but in a rather unattractive corner (inner yard of a commercial area) - not sketchy, just not as pretty. Wifi is free in the apartments, but limited to 400mb/day per device. I wonder what the breakfast would be like given that there was no reception etc... we did not try that option. the parking right in front of it is nominally a pay/hr parking lot, but the barrier was open when our time was up so we did not have to pay for that:)

Price was misleading. I asked for a quote for 3 people, and was given a price, but later was charged an extra 23 euros for the 3rd bed. VERY difficult to find, even with GPS. It is on a walking street and poorly labeled. There is no desk to check in, and if I had not checked my email the morning that we were supposed to arrive (often while traveling I cannot check email), I would not have even had the codes to get in the door but would have been locked out on a cold rainy night to go find the sister hotel to try to get in. Room itself was just acceptable (smelly and only moderately clean). Don't plan to use the kitchen much.

Unfortunately, my room was the worst one among those I've ever had before. Generally, the room looks clean and hotel location was good. However, the bathroom was deadly and terribly stinking for some reason (I did not investigate why it was so because I do not want to realize what was the cause). It was less than reasonable for cost. Maybe, the other rooms were fine, but you might be unlucky. If your nose would not work at all, I would recommend. Otherwise, not at least this room.

Spacious apartments in the center
Ambassador Suites is located conveniently off the main street of Leuven, and offers spacious accomodation for a temporary stay for those who do not want or need a full hotel service (although most facilities are provided- at an extra cost). The apartment was spacious although a bit dated in decor and not as lit as you may like. I found nothing lacked except for an iron (but there is an ironing board) so it's recommended for those that prefer a self-catering holiday or a group vacation.

The appartment was pretty large and practically and quite cosily equipped. I missed some carpets because the floor tiling and laminated floor were quite cold. The cleaning was not done too good and there was apparently some problem with the toilet outlet in my room that returned sewage and therefore smelled. There is no manned reception at any time so you receive access codes for entrance and safe to retrieve your key but it was announced in advance - this is not a standard hotel. The hotel is very well situated within the town centre just a couple of steps from the main streets and square with the old city hall. Shops (grocery ..) are nearby, even it was possible to find a free park place which as I found out is a real problem in Leuven. A had a problem finding the hotel when arriving, Leuven´s centre consists of scores of small and narrow lanes, GPS did not work, but it is not a problem of the hotel. Overall I would go there again.

It's remarkably big and you get a nice window. No idea what they were thinking with the lighting though. Not enough lights. cooking in the kitchenette at night is horrible, and the bathroom was also really dark. The sofas and bed were both comfortable. I didn't really understand how wifi was supposed to work, I managed to connect to wifi on my phone for a few hours until it unexpectedly stopped working and I could not connect my laptop at all. This was annoying because I wanted to check my emails in the morning but couldn't. Also the walls are very thin so when some people came home past midnight it woke me up. I would bring earplugs.

The nets on the windows are desired to protect from mosquitoes. A ventilator would also help a lot. It looks like a ventilation of the building is not well designed. The towels do not look fresh. On the trash bags downstairs English explanations would help.

This was a great place to stay with 2 nice bedrooms and a kitchenette and a living room. The bad thing about this was that the road was totally blocked to the hotel due to construction so we had to lug our suitcases up a hill to reach the place. But I would stay there again once the road reopens.

Certaintly the Ambassadors Flat Leuven didn't fulfill my expectations. The check-in is from 4 pm and there is no staff there to receive you. Therefore, it you arrive before 4 pm (which was the case) you cannot leave the luggage there. Besides this, to get the key of the room, you have to call to a Belgian telefone number where at the other side there is someone giving instructions such us, press the code XXXXXX, go to the black box, press the code XXXXX and get an envelope where your key will be in there. I found it annoying not to have the chance to talk directly with the staff... Finally, on top of that, once I see the room, I found that there is hair all over the floor!! Long-black hairs. Pretty disgusting and inadmissible. But since there is no personal there, I could not complain directly, I had to call again to the Belgian misterious voice who, after a asking me all sort of strange questions such as "how many hairs are there" or "are there other things on the floor besides hairs" ¿? told me that he would send someone to clean the room.
