1 Bedroom KY Bourbon Trail Loft in Horse Country

Newly renovated 1 bedroom, 2 story loft in the Historic St. Claire Entertainment District of Frankfort Kentucky. Enjoy the best Kentucky has to offer with easy access to famous distilleries such as Buffalo Trace and Woodford Reserve and enjoy live thoroughbred racing at Keeneland Racetrack in nearby Lexington, KY.
The space
2 story, 900 square foot apartment. The apartment is located on the second floor of the building. There is no elevator so you must be able to use stairs. Full kitchen, with a cozy living room and dining area and half-bath are downstairs. Upstairs opens up to a large bedroom with a laundry room off the closet and a full bath. Both the living room and bedroom are furnished with smart TV's and free wifi throughout the unit.
Guest access
Guests will be given the code to the building's exterior doors and a personalized code for entrance to the loft door during their stay. There are approximately 25 stair steps to reach the 2nd floor where the unit is located. Security cameras are located at the exterior entrances for guest safety.

Very nice Loft. Really enjoyed my stay. I was in town for a week for work and it felt very comforting, I loved the the location because I was able to walk everywhere I needed to be. Very close to nice dinner places.

Frankfort is a small town but if you're looking for place centrally located to get to distilleries and be able to walk to dinner and drinks in the evening this is the place.

Great spot in downtown Frankfort

We stayed at this place in Frankfort for the night and then went to Cincinnati for King’s Island and the Zoo. It is within a good driving distance from Cincinnati and it is just a short walk away from great restaurants and historical markers. Beautiful city and beautiful apartment with great amenities.

Perfect Stay - Amazing Location!

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at Shane's property for a quick visit to Frankfort. The location of the loft was ideal for walking around downtown, and was within a short distance of cute shops/restaurants/bars. The pictures don't even do it justice! Would highly recommend - we hope to be back ourselves again soon.

An Excellent, Must Stay Place!

The photos do not give this space justice or maybe I didn't pay hard enough attention to the exposed antique brick and refinished (what appears to be the original) hardwood floors. Plenty of amenities from cooking, eating utensils, coffee options, etc. Excellent location and easy access to downtown with great restaurant options. Communication was great! Easy to check in and out! Next trip we plan, will be staying again! A must stay place!

Bourbon Tour

What a great location downtown. We sat outside on the street and listed to music. Talked with the locals on what restaurants to visit. Coffee shop by the train tracks was amazing! Visited tiki on the river and had a blast. Everyone we meet was very nice.

Amazing location, great host

The apartment is just as described. Perfect location for a couple of days on the bourbon trail. There was a mix-up with the cleaner, but Shane worked with us to get everything taken care of very quickly and professionally. If you are looking to do Lexington area sites and you want a quiet place in a lovely, welcoming, walkable town, definitely consider this rental and Frankfort.

5 day stay in Frankfort

We stayed in Frankfort on a previous trip and chose this property because we like the location. It works great for the day trips we take when we visit the various distilleries in the area. Shane responded quickly when we reached out and was a pleasure to work with. The apartment is nicely appointed and suited our needs. When we return we would book the KY Bourbon Trail Loft again.

Cozy Loft in the heart of downtown

The loft was a great place to stay. Shane was very responsive and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean and nicely updated, for the age of the building. The loft was very quiet and a convenient place to stay. The only thing that we had some struggles with, very minor, was the door keypad.... you have to have the right touch to unlock. We would stay here again.

Under the weather BUT PHENOMENAL place.

The accuracy in the description of this place is better than it was written. I got under the weather on this trip, but made the most of it. There's not much I can add other than its a must stay for anybody looking to travel to Kentucky and enjoy all it has to offer, especially the bourban trails . Shane was a fantastic host and great communicator. I plan to comeback again and this time enjoy it even more without the sudden sickness.

Fall Bourbon Trail Trip

Great location for distillery visits and walking around downtown Frankfort. There are many stairs to climb to get to the unit as well as the bedroom. This is no problem as long as you do not have issues with stairs. Train whistle sounds twice between midnight and 4am. We got used to it by the 4th night. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location for Bourbon Trail Activities

Everything was as pictured. Seemed newly renovated. Clean. Comfortable bed. Keurig coffee options were delicious. Enjoyed having 2 stories - made it feel like home with bedroom separate from living spaces. Host was responsive. Location was perfect for all our activities. Buffalo Trace is minutes away. Easy to get to Louisville, Lexington, or distilleries in the region. Friday night they blocked off the street and had live music (acoustic guitar player and a singer). Folks sat outside the restaurants enjoying food and drinks. Great vibe. Plenty of restaurants/bars within walking distance.

It was a great front location on St. Clair Street, but the 'backyard' on Catfish Alley had a lot to be desired. We had never stayed at a VRBO and had communication trouble thru email, which I told Shane. I gave Shane our cell number for easier communication to text, but we never received any text. It was frustrating...
