I’m not sure how this place has solid reviews. Upon entering the lobby, the entire place smelled like stale cigarettes. The one upside is that the lady working the front was very friendly. Upon entering the room, there was a candy wrapped and pencil in the floor in the corner. There was dirt and stains in the bathroom. Later that night, we pulled back the sheets to find a dark stain (looked to maybe be a coffee stain?) on the sheet. Even worse, there was a big yellow stain (looked to be pee) on the comforter. I’ve never been so disgusted. I don’t care what some of these reviews say, avoid this hotel unless you’re absolutely desperate.

The staff was truly amazing and very accommodating. We had a boat that needed charged over night ans the staff set us up with a room that we could charge the boat and park right at our room.

It was just a minor incident, arguably our own fault because we left the cap off of a refillable water bottle overnight, but a little bug surprised us in it the next morning, a sink-type of bug that likes moisture. Everything else was satisfactorily clean; the front desk staff was friendly and we appreciated the included breakfast.

The room was surprisingly nice, beds comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and bright. We have never stayed at a property previously, and were not aware of the no elevator situation, which was not an issue for us for one night but if I were staying for a weekend I might not be as flexible with all the luggage etc to haul up and down. For the price - it was a great deal.

Decided to stay here since it was the halfway point on my drive home. Arrived late at night, so I didn’t spend much time awake in my room. But everything was in really good shape. Both staff members I talked to when checking in and checking out were very nice as well. Between all of that and the price of a room, I will definitely be staying here again on future trips.

Definitely an older building, not at all what I expected. Bathroom small, toilet handle has to be held to flush, hallways needing at least a paint job to look better. Bed was comfortable and hotel was easy to get to off of the highway. Location was very nice, but I won’t stay here again. I’ll pay more for a hotel that is in better shape.

This place is nasty. While it was cheaper than other hotels I did not expect to have my room smell like straight mildew and the curtains to have black mold stains all over it. The toilet ran on and off all night and we were right next to the side entrance and the door banged shut which was extremely loud. The exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like it was on its last leg and.the mural on the wall behind the beds looked like it was probably hiding mold. Do not recomment

The breakfast area was sub par. bagels out in the open and fruit flies on EVERYTHING. I didnt even make myself a coffee due to the amount of bugs swarming the whole area. The breakfast attendant was too busy talking so loud at the checkin counter to do her job.

Staff was personable, but the conditions of the hotel were sub par. Pur 1st room smelled like mildew. We entered and it sounded like water was running. I checked the faucets and nothing was on. I then stepped onto the carpet near the restroom with my socks and it was soaking wet and found a dirty towel in the bathroom hanging on the shower curtain. Had to go and get another room. Inconveniently, had to get my key programmed 3 times because it would not work to get into the hotel and to my room. But hotel was in a good location next to police station, town, and freeway access.

Overnight stay
Over night stay traveling from Illinois to South Carolina. Front desk person at check in could use some people skills and try saying Hello when someone walks in and Thank you. The beds were comfortable, but the accessible shower could definitely need a better shower head, that can be used without a struggle! Ice machines not working properly. Hallways very dated.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds. They were not queens. When I asked the desk about it they said that they are queens, just small and people have commented on it before. The only reason we chose this hotel because they had 2 queens instead of 2 double beds. Also there were no sprinklers in the romm which i have not seen in a hotel in years. Is that even ip to code?
