Great location right near the train station. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was quite good and certainly worth the money. We would stay here again! Thank you!
Location was perfect everyone was super helpful and friendly. The only downside is they don’t have AC, and we had a fan. The night was very hot for us.
Loved how walkable The Victoria Hotel was, especially from the train station! It was central to Galway, under a ten minute walk to the Latin Quarter, a two minute walk to the Square, and about 10 minutes from the start of the Promenade walk! We were pleasantly surprised to get a room upgrade, and felt we couldn’t have picked a better location for exploring Galway!
A very lovely hotel conveniently close to all the spots of interest. The hotel staff, especially young lady we spoke to just before we left. She helped us get our arrangements for heading back to Dublin..
Regretful part of the day is that the breakfast is very scant. The coffee was not good, which was surprising. The fruit was very poor.. that’s too bad cause otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
This hotel is right in the heart of Eyre Square. Great for walking around and good restaurants in the area. Parking is a little tricky- having to walk a block or two but that’s understandable with being right down downtown. Modest but comfortable room.
Great location right next to Eyre Square with parking at a reduced rate a few minutes away. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Might have had the best dinner of our two week tour of Ireland in their Queen Street restaurant!
Convenient location in central Galway. Like most of Europe there is no air conditioning, but a small fan is available. Room was clean. Restaurant on site ($). Low water pressure in shower.
Booked hotel for bar and location and was not disappointed by either.
We hit in heat wave so room was warm without a/c.
Staff very accommodating with all inquiries and special requests!
It was a good location, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Parking was easy, and our room was clean. Appreciated the coffee and water in the room. The room was really warm, with only a fan, and the windows didn’t open. Also, we were unable to stream anything on our TV and had to watch local stations. Otherwise, everything was good.
Victoria Hotel was perfect choice. It is in the most convient spot. Around the corner from train station and very close to shopping, pubs, the water and some colorful houses. The rooms and lobby were well maintained and the rooms were a good size. The staff was very helpful. I would go back again.
Love this hotel and the location! Staff was kind and helpful. Note when booking to see exactly how many beds you have. I made a mistake there. C’est la vie. Everything was clean and comfortable. Loved the restaurant attached to hotel. Really a great choice!
