We were really happy with this hotel! Room is small but very clean and the shower is excellent!! There is no better location in Galway, btw! And huge s/o to Hugh in the lounge!

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stepped into. The room was a disaster, after sitting on the bed the headboard collapsed, there were stains all over the place, the phone wasn’t even plugged in and the worst of all there were empty rooms throughout the place with the doors wide open. We got a refund and found another hotel for the night. It was pitiful and I would never recommend it

Another example of why not to book rooms overseas on Expedia. I thought I had got a great room and location just within walking distance from Eyre Square in Galway, close to shopping and historical sites. What I got was a room that overlooked dumpsters and shoved out the back of the pub like some kind of pauper. Had I known that this was the lowest rated hotel on the street I would have tried to stay else where, but that is not the Expedia experience. However, Had a great time in Galway that night and thanks to the Staff for trying to be upstanding and accommodating. But try the Hostel down the street. lol

Hotel was in excellent location minutes from center, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It has a nice pub and coffee shop. Room was smallish but reasonable value for price. Carpet could use a cleaning

There was quite a bit of noise outside our window in the early morning - sounded like deliveries. The property is a bit dated but was comfortable and convenient.

Staff was wonderful! Parking was offsite, then you had to walk with your luggage down the main street to get to the hotel. Room was small but manageable. It was quite at night as well considering it was in a main area.

The hotel is in a great location, and they have an AMAZING staff. Everyone from check in to housekeeping to restaurant staff were fantastic! The only real downside was the room. It looked old and dirty (it was not dirty, we went over nearly ever surface with disinfecting wipes and they came up clean) but the carpet is old and dingy and hasn't been shampooed in years. There was not a single piece of artwork on the walls and there is no temperature that you can control on your own, just a small, dust covered fan and a window that opens. The bathroom is small and the sink is oddly low, ensuring that you get water everywhere when using it. The lobby, bar, and restaurant are all lovely and updated, but our room was beyond sad. Hopefully, the rooms will get some of the attention that the other areas of the hotel have received.

Nice place. Lots of shopping available. Room was mostly quiet. We did have a street view and there was a lot of music. But pulled the blackout curtains when we were ready to sleep and it worked out great
