Quaint little hotel within walking distance of shops, pubs and food. Just an overnight stay but we would have liked to make it a couple of days. Well worth the stop.

Pleasant three nights at the Eyre Square Townhouse. Close to everything you need to see and do in Galway. The amenities provided were adequate for the price Including hair dryer and little chocolate coins on the pillow. The downstairs cafe was being renovated at the time and unfortunately my room was above the construction area. However, it only happened during the day when I was out and about. It wasn’t necessarily a downer for my stay. Would stay again :)

The room had multiple broken lights. The toilet flush button was missing. The light on the bathroom is set on a motion sensor and turns off every couple minutes while in the shower, leaving you in the dark until you step out of the shower. At night, multiple homeless people heckled me and my partner outside of the entrance of the townhouse. Location is very noisy due to talking homeless people on the streets.

This is a nice budget hotel so keep that in mind. Note that The front desk is behind a key code door after hours. The front desk reception was top notch but the room had a noisy heating fan. I think the room
