The Wellington was built in 1950 and has retained all her charm, along with her upgrades. There is a new concrete walk, front parking pad, side parking pad, front patio (with patio furniture and umbrella in season), back deck (with commercial grill and deck furniture), landscaping, tree swing, and a fire pit with seating.

** Strip the sheet sets on each bed used & put in laundry baskets. Comforters and decorative pillows stay in rooms and are washed & rotated between stays.

Comfortable stay in a sweet home

We were very happy with our one night stay here. There was plenty of room to house our group of five. We all had a good night's sleep thanks to the very comfortable beds. We also appreciated the special touch of the artwork by the owner's mom; it made it feel like home.

Beautiful Home in Close Proximity to EKU

This was such a perfect home for our campus visit to EKU. The owner was so responsive and the home was beautiful, well-maintained, and felt warm and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend this home for those reasons as well as walking distance to EKU and many restaurants.

Friends getaway!

We are friends from high school enjoying the autumn season in the country! Scenery was breathtakingly beautiful! The leaves had turned in such amazing colors! Food was great and the house was located in a good spot easy access to the freeway & shopping etc. Nice weekend getaway!

Weekend Getaway!

Great location! We went to horse races at Keeneland on Saturday (about 40 minute drive) and hiked East Pinnacle in Berea College Forest on Sunday (about 20 minute drive). Beautiful and so much fun! House was spotless and included all necessary amenities. Host was very responsive to all my questions; provided lots of tips on dining options in area. EKU is just a block away! Beautiful campus to take a walk.

Perfect!!

Lots of bedrooms. Cute decor. Lots of games for our family to play. This host has everything you could possibly need on your stay. We've rented houses before that didn't even have a hairdryer in the house,but this one has everything you might need. Very impressed! The wifi was incredibly fast!

Perfect location

This was a perfect location for both a visit to Richmond and to Eastern Kentucky. Loved being able to walk up to a local coffee shop and having quick access to the university. Would absolutely stay here again. The only reason for 4 stars is that the property did not have laundry available - however, it was advertised accurately. I just overlooked that and being a family with teenage boys, it would have been a plus. But otherwise a perfect stay!

2024 Moore Family Reunion

Property is tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Modern appliances with a well appointed kitchen. Everything provided. Downstairs bathroom has a beautifully remodeled walk in shower. We spend most of our day time away from house, everyone had a bed to sleep in. Was too hot for a fire. Back porch is very nice. Loved it. Everyone wants to stay there next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location! We were able to walk to several restaurants and bars.Well stocked with everything you will need and everything is labeled so nicely. The only issue we had is the listing said there were 3 bedrooms with double or queen beds when 2 bedrooms had twin beds. One of our couples had to sleep in twin beds. But it wasn’t a big deal. Just beware!

Even nicer than the pictures! Best equipped VRBO I have stayed at and I have rented many. Super clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable furnishings. Would absolutely stay here again if in Richmond.

This house made you feel at home. Very clean and stocked with whatever you need. From kitchen items to shampoo in the bath, not much more you would want.I had my dogs with me and the yard was great for them even having to tie out! Will definitely use again!

Very affordable little house.
