"Nice quiet location about 15 minute drive from Bellagio. Nice host and clean house. Two surprises that caught us off guard…first, though there were two bathrooms advertised, but there was only one shower for four people. Second and more significant, there was no heat in the unit until mid October. The weather was in the upper 40s/low 50s at night, so the house was downright cold most of the time. "Staff and Owner were very accommodating and kind, yet very respectful of the guests stay. This is one of the best experience of my 3 week solo travel in Switzerland and Italy. Brilliant restoration of a family villa with unique hospitality. From check in to check out it was a highlight of my travels. Suggest getting tickets for ferry from Como to Lezzono early in the morning to avoid long queue. Also, taking bus back to Como, in am, is often full. Best to travel with smaller suitcases for boats, trains, and buses."

"By chance I chose this property for my stay in Como. What a HUGE blessing! The staff was so helpful and kind and I truly loved the accents! The property is stunning and lures you in from the moment you pull into the drive with vines and architecture surrounding you. Enter thru a beautiful entry with a winding red carpet stairway that leads you to an enchanting room of old world charm and luxury. I wanted to drink coffee all day and read a book in this room. In fact every common area you wanted to spend time in like it was a hope of a royal family. We then entered our room! I was so very pleased and excited...I felt like royalty. So clean, very elegant and a view! The windows are adorned with beautiful curtains and wooded shutters to block the light from the windows that open out to the view of lake and courtyard of the city! This is worth every dime you spend to stay."

"Our stay at Ibis Como was excellent. The hotel is very well located, just a 10-minute drive from Lake Como and surrounded by numerous restaurants and shopping centers. Free parking is available, which was a great advantage for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and met all our expectations. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which was very convenient for our schedule, although the variety of options could be improved. The hotel is also only a 30-minute drive from Fiera Milano, making it an ideal choice for business travelers. Having a car is highly recommended. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return."
