"Really enjoyed our stay! The hotel is closer to the airport and Liberia which really matters for excursions. If you are going to the national parks like Rincón, Tenorio etc you are much closer than if you stayed in Tamarindo. The resort was nice clean and located right on the beach..We only had the basic food package level and I thought the buffet food was pretty good. Other guests were sour on the food quality the best way I can describe it is good quality wedding catering. It is good but food mad is mass batches is also not quite restaurant quality. If you are picky about food you can upgrade and eat at the sit down oriental or Italian restaurants which were amazing! Overall really good value for the price."

"A safe and central location in the heart of Liberia, offering warm Guanacastecan hospitality, with attentive staff who all seem genuinely to enjoy their role in meeting the needs of their guests. The secure locked parking system is excellent. Clean, simple rooms in a tropical oasis. Most impressive is the care that has been taken to preserve native flora and ancient trees. "

"The staff were so hospitable and accommodating! I was traveling with my partner for my birthday, and the hotel staff surprised us with wine and a birthday cake to my room free of charge! The food was good for the most part, although two of the eateries were closed due to construction, they also were very amenable to food allergies and restrictions (I have a gluten sensitivity). The grounds were absolutely gorgeous and they always have golf carts and buggies to shuttle you around. Resort activities are plentiful if you are staying on the resort. If you book an excursion, I suggest pre-booking as the resort company with the hotel only offers certain excursions on certain days and requires a minimum number of people. There are locals on the beach that offer excursions but if you are extra cautious, like myself you may be hesitant. I suggest booking one through a travel app, such as viator, expedia, or something like that. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed myself and would love to visit again!!!"

"The property is really nice, everything look neat and clean. The personnel is very polite and friendly. We just stayed one night for transit, but so far the best experience was during checking. Downside is the AA noise, not finding how to run hot water in the bathtub. "
