"Lovely hotel in a quiet location in beautiful spacious grounds. Sabrina was very friendly and helpful also providing a good varied breakfast. Pool looked great although too cold for us to use when we were there in mid-May. Large room with a very comfortable large bed, great bathroom and shower and great balcony overlooking the countryside. "The Villa Athena is an amazing luxury hotel with an amazing location. With a direct view of Greek temples, as well as private access, sets this property apart from others. In addition the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We also enjoyed our private balcony with direct access to the property and pool area. The staff was welcoming and attentive. I like the size of the resort as it feels more intimate and personalized. We also took advantage of the amazing restaurant as well. We will definitely return for another stay in the future."

"Beautiful hotel and pool located on the beach. Definitely recommend getting a sea view balcony because the view is stunning. I booked this hotel because the description said it was a 12 min walk to the Scala dei Turchi, it is much longer closer to 40 mins walking the beach. The restaurant dinner located onsite was okay and will do when not wanting to go anywhere for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asking for information about the local tourist attractions. Very clean and well maintained."

"Excellent locations! Very near train station; a bus stop to go to Valley if the Temple and a 5-min wall to Centro Storico. Air conditioning was fantastic; appreciated the split units in each room. Apartment was nicely appointed; lacking only a view to the sea. Our apartment was in a separate building which stopped us from enjoying roof top terrace at the main hotel. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Didn’t have breakfast included in our rate so can’t speak to it."

The host could be a little more communicative as we didn't realize we could use some of the utensil and space to prepare ourselves our meals (just no cooking), we saw guests doing it so we asked and it was permitted. It would be nice to have a little more information on the amenities when we check-in. The location is ideal 10 min for Valley of the Temple and 25 min to Scala Dei Turchi."
