Lake Jocassee Home - Incredible Dock and Mountain and Sunset Views - Devils Fork

"Brian was a wonderful host. The house is an older lake home with views that have to be the best on the lake. The home can host multiple family members without feeling crowded. Brian makes sure that the home is stocked with essential items including spices and oils for cooking and lake towels and floats for use in the water. We cooked in each night and played board games after spending all our time out on the water. Lake Jocassee is a super special place. We loved that it felt remote…..and the blue green waters of the lake make it feel tropical. Thank you Brian and family for sharing your lake home with us!! We hope to be back!"

"If I could give Brook Trout Inn ten stars I would. Julie, her husband Steve, and their right hand woman, Holly, were welcolming, friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless, the breakfast eggs were cooked to order with almost everything else you could ask for to start the day. Run, don't walk to this Inn the next time you are in the area and need somewhere to stay. Who needs a chain hotel when you can stay with what feels like family❤️? Also, we brought our 17'9" boat and parking was no problem on the property."

"My granddaughter announced as we were leaving that this is the best house yet! She wants to return.We all enjoyed it. Great house, fit our family of 9 perfectly. Mama bears and cubs visited on two days of our stay, to our delight!Fire pit lovely for s'mores and stories."

"Our family had a wonderful time at this property. It was very clean, and there was plenty of space to spread out. It was so relaxing to be secluded but still not far from restaurants and the grocery store. We had a great time playing in the river and hiking the nearby trails. Gorges State Park was very close and had beautiful trails, too. We would absolutely go back!"

"This was an absolutely seamless stay from start to finish. Communication with the owner was excellent, consistent, friendly, and responsive throughout our visit. He was always available to answer questions and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. The home was thoughtfully stocked with just about everything you could possibly need, making it incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is perfect, with easy access to everything we wanted to do. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a stress-free, enjoyable stay, and I would gladly stay here again!"

"This mountain home exceeded expectations. The views were absolutely breathtaking—perfect for morning coffee and unforgettable cocktail sunsets.The home was spotless, comfortable, and well furnished, with a fully stocked kitchen and cozy spaces to relax. The beds were very comfortable, making it easy to unwind after exploring.We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend this VRBO for a relaxing mountain getaway with incredible views.Thank you Debbie for a memorable experience!"
