"Beautiful property with lots of opportunities to explore and enjoy nature. Some of the more adventerous one's did a great hike to the trails and went to several of the waterfalls, others tried the fishing and the older folks played in the arcade and built puzzles. The kitchen was great. The wi-fi was not the best for us but we were happy to see the teens without phones in their hands all the time so it was good. We all drove separate vehicles so our transport was fine. There are a lot of steps to access the large home so be prepared for that. The cabin is absolutely adorable and has easy access and the game room was a definite favorite. "
"Windy Hill Lodge is an absolute paradise in the mountains! The cabin, and all of its amenities, were absolutely top-notch and the process of checking in couldn't have been easier! I don't know if there's better views anywhere in North Carolina! We enjoyed Windy Hill Lodge so much that we never even went into town… Just stayed and enjoyed the views and the great breeze!We cannot wait to return next year!"
