Tomfoolery Winegrower's Cottage

Situated at the home of Tomfoolery Wines in the Barossa Valley, this newly renovated cottage is only about an hours drive north of Adelaide.
Located on the 20 acre winery property it is complete with all of the luxuries to enjoy your time away, including a king sized bed, a large spa, robes, Sheridan towels, wine and a full lounge area to relax in. Guests are able to walk through the vineyard and stroll through the orchard where they can help themselves to fresh fruit and veggies - season dependent. Also if you visit during the harvest season you are welcome to visit the team at the winery and see the production in full swing, we may even get you to lend a hand.
There is also an indoor pool which is exclusively for guests and is available to use during warmer months.
A two night stay has generous inclusions such as free wi-fi, Nespresso Machine, beer, wines, cheese, local muesli, bacon & eggs, juice and Molten Brown amenities and much more.
We also offer our guests 10 percent off all purchases made in the Cellar Door which is adjacent to the cottage and of course can help you freight your goodies home.
There is also the option to arrive by Helicopter as the property is equipped with its own helipad!
The Farmers' Market which opens every Saturday morning is just up the road so you can explore all the local produce the Barossa has to offer and top up on fresh supplies.
The three major towns of the Barossa Valley are all located within 10 minutes of the cottage and there are many other wineries and a variety of restaurants close by making it a fabulous location for a wine region getaway.

40 th wedding anniversary stay
Very comfortable cottage and facilities excellent with all top quality appliances and provisions . Beautifully clean Good communication from host .Good location to explore Barossa . Only critisism is the website does not describe that the cottage is attached to the cellar door (close to road) and with the car park for the cellar door behind the cottage . We were under the impression it was in a more isolated site on the property . regards Peter and Jeni

Perfectly located gem
From the moment of booking, the communication with Sarah was amazing - efficient, helpful and informative. Her knowledge of the region was so helpful in planning our itinerary. The cottage is gorgeous and so very well stocked with all the essentials and a few little luxuries too. The whole place is thoughtfully laid out, with all the modern amenities but in a charming setting. We loved the focus on locally sourced produce, products and furnishings. Location is fabulous and the tasting at the winery is a must! We stayed for our honeymoon and could not recommend Tomfoolery Cottage more highly! Next time hopefully it will be warm enough for a dip in the cute indoor pool! Thanks Sarah and Ben - we love your place!

Terrific stay at Tomfoolery!
Located about half way between Angaston and Nuriootpa in the foothills of Light’s Pass, this cosy cottage offered everything required for a romantic getaway. Sarah and Ben were lovely hosts offering excellent attention to detail. All you the provisions you could want for a continental or fully cooked breakfast were made available (even with dietary restrictions). We negotiated late checkout due to a balloon flight booked with Barossa Valley Ballooning which had the potential to end after the 11am check out time. Sarah was very kind in allowing us the opportunity for flexibility. Thoughtful provisions, lovely products and well located outdoor seating all added to the ambiance of the property and made for a relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Wonderful stay & attention to detail
I would highly recommend this property for your stay in the Barossa Valley. It was terrific to have a private swimming pool all to ourselves and our own little garden. The food and drink supplies left for us in the fridge were very generous and appreciated, it makes for an easy arrival if you have not had time to shop for anything. Terrific spa bath and little extras such as the boom box and local produce were all enjoyed. We enjoyed the Tomfoolery wines too and added a couple of dozen to our home collection! Thank you.

Luxurious couples retreat
Beautiful little bed and breakfast place behind Tom Foolery Winemakers, among their vineyard. The cottage was intimate and yet roomy. Attention was given to lots of small details. Gorgeous locally sourced produce for brekky to cook on the WeberQ, or continental provisions. Cheeses, amazing wines that we could enjoy looking over the garden complete with herbs and fruit trees, or in the cosy cottage. Super clean and orderly with everything you could need for a home away from home. Thank so much for having us.
