An excellent hotel. We could not fault it. Staff were lovely - the room was clean, cosy & comfortable (only slight issue was that there was no shower curtain & despite our best efforts, the floor got very wet). We loved the decor & atmosphere & would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We would love to stay again on a return visit.

This was a very lovely hotel. It was clean, safe and very central with several dining options within a short walking distance. The day and evening reception was very friendly and helpful. The overnight staff- not so much. That can just be personality

Excellent value.

Ideal location for rail travellers, only an easy 15 minute walk from Lille-Europe station and less than 5 minutes from the Grande Place. Spacious and quiet room but ensuite facility extremely small and cramped. Staff were very friendly and helpful..

The hotel is perfectly located. Literally 5 min to Lille flandres - another 5 min to Lille Europe. Turn right and you’ll see the cathedral, turn left and you’ll be at the grande place. The room was comfortable if on the small side with some bulky useless furniture (like a cabinet which served no purpose and a desk you could not use as the double bed took most of the room). Shower was fine. I missed a kettle to make tea and coffee. I didn’t try breakfast. Reception staff varied in friendliness and competency - one told me that was no hair dryer when there was one! And wasn’t very good at communicating either. Another was very friendly and shared useful information too.

Perfect stay

Perfect location to visit Lille. Very clean and comfortable stay. Allowed us lo leave our bags in hotel on the last day so we could still explore before our train. Will be back!

Hotel de la Paix

The hotel was in an excellent position in the centre of Lille, surrounded by shops & restaurants, but not too noisy. With an old world charm, clean & in good order & lovely comfortable rooms & communal areas. Staff were friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel for business stay, was very clean and tidy. Room was extremely quiet which was great for sleeping. Maybe some updating needed and a few extra options at the continental breakfast, but other than this it is very good for the nightly rate especially being in the city centre and compared to other hotels close by.
