Simple friendly hotel

Very friendly but basic hotel. Rooms are nice and clean but small. Nice bar serving drinks and snacks. Only real downside was the smell of cigarettes in the corridor.

The hotel is just outside of the main city centre, however for a budget hotel it was very good. Good uber service available. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were a bit small for 3 grown ups to share, but all in all a very nice budget hotel.

Been in this hotel a couple time before. It's ok for a night stay when en route. Functional and confortable beds. Bathroom of good size and easy to park. It shows signs of decay. Fixtures falling, cracked paint and things like that but as I said, it's ok for one night and really budget option

Let’s start with the positives: - Staff were friendly - Parking was free - Bed and pillows excellent Negatives: - Room was allocated to me, uncleaned. Towels on the floor, rubbish in the bin, bed sheets all over the bed not made. - Some random crawling insect was running around on the bedsheets when I returned from a day out. Windows had been closed so it didn’t enter that way. A mixed bag. It’s a good stop if you’re going to Lille or within an hour travel either way, comfort levels are good, but rooms are basis and dated, with stains and decor breaking off.

A bit out from the city centre but still easy enough to get to—makes sense given the cheaper price compared to other places. Finding the entrance from the bus stop was a bit tricky. I got a room with an awesome view of the windmills by the nearby museum. It was already pretty warm in early May, but I just opened the window and it was fine. The downside was that the hotel’s near a parking lot, and with the window open, I got woken up early by some noisy people out there. Still, the bed was super comfy, and the bath was great. They had free tea, coffee (with takeaway cups), and cookies too, which was a nice touch.

Room was tiny. Walls easily transmitted sound from other rooms and corridors. Late at night cars were drag racing and doing donuts in car park next door at windmill museum making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was ok but only one waitress who couldn’t cope with serving and clearing so dirty plates and cups everywhere. Plus points were the reception staff friendly and location close to museum of modern art. Plenty of free parking.

This room would be legally non-compliant in the UK; however, France may have different safety regulations. The third bed is on a loft (approximately 6 ft × 4 ft) built above the bathroom and can only be accessed via a ladder, which has to be retracted to allow movement on the main level. There are two beds in the main room, which are just about suitable for an average-sized person. However, space is very limited, and it’s difficult for two people to move around at the same time. One person often has to step aside to allow the other to pass.

It’s a nice city.

My stay at the hotel was terrible, it was too hot in the summer and there was no air conditioning or fan, they didn't change the towels, terrible hotel.

Our room was on the backside of the hotel. There was a empty square were at night people with noisy cars make burnouts. So you have to close the window. Better to book a room at the front side were the parkingplace is.

No a/c in the middle of the summer. No fan. Windows open, but no screen, so the bugs come in and it’s very unsafe for children. The sink was clogged up in our first room, so they moved us to a room with a clogged toilet. Staff was ok, but I’d never stay again. Terrible experience.
