Hampton Inn & Suites Orange Beach/Gulf Front

"Overall, our stay was good. Shacha at the front desk was wonderful, friendly, professional, and very nice to talk to. We arrived about 3 hours late because we had a flat tire on the way. Even though it was already around 7 PM, she welcomed us and offered us water, which really made our day after a stressful trip. The location is great! The beach is only about a 1–2 minute walk, which was very convenient. Breakfast was fine, although the fruit selection was limited. Some outlets in our room were loose or didn’t work, and the USB ports didn’t work either, but it didn’t ruin our stay. My biggest issue was housekeeping on checkout morning. Around 9:20 AM, two housekeeping staff knocked and within seconds opened our door before we had time to answer. They apologized when they saw us, but then the man asked what time we were leaving. Checkout is at 11 AM, and I paid for the room through checkout time. Being asked when I was leaving at 9:20 made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. Guests should be able to enjoy the room they paid for until checkout without feeling pressured to leave early. We checked out around 9:50 AM and told Liz at the front desk what happened. She was also very nice and professional. Shacha and Liz provided excellent customer service. I just hope the housekeeping issue is addressed."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pensacola Beach

"This was our first family trip to Pensacola, and I sure am glad we chose Fairfield Inn & Suites. Check in was a breeze with the friendly staff, who accommodated us with an early check in since a room was available upon our arrival. The room was nice and clean which was a relief plus the ocean view made every penny worth it. The pool was great and there was immediate access to the beach which was wonderful because it was only about a seventy yard walk to the sand. Every staff member we interacted with were friendly and extremely helpful. My family LOVED the complimentary breakfast and it gave us a great start to each of our days. We’ve already decided that we will be back!"

"Our flight was delayed and we missed our 1st night: they were very understanding and kind enough to credit that night. Location was perfect : on the Sound with a small private beach, gorgeous pool and across the street from the Gulf Beach. Walkable restaurants and shops , yet peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful as is the woman running it. Front desk staff was very friendly! Loved the bikes and even if we didn't kayak, awesome to have them. GREAT place to stay, very chill."

"A really nice hotel inside Gulf State Park. Minor little things that could be better, the dispenser next to bathroom sink should be a nice hand soap, not skin lotion. I was told there was a printer that I could use next to elevator, but that's not on 1st floor where we were....there is one on second floor, but there's no laptop or PC connected....kind of useless really. Food options are ok but not fantastic. Bikes are available, but using them requires more investigation than it should imho."

"We had a partial view room which was an ok view just had to lean over the rail and peek around room. This was a last minute stay for one night to extend our trip a day. The hotel is on the older side and could use some updates. I would say more so the rooms are outdated. The room was clean, beds comfortable and a fine place to stay. Saw folks with pets so a good option if bring your fur babies a long for the ride. There is a daily parking rate of $10 plus tax that was not made clear when the charge was ran , but is understandable as most places charge. We got in late so did not get to use the lazy river -but it looked nice and clean! There was one elevator that was not working - however did not have too long of waits for the one available. Overall nice place."
