The house itself is clean and cozy, with comfortable bedrooms stocked with extra blankets and pillows. The spacious bathrooms (both upstairs and downstairs!) had plenty of towels, a big plus.We loved relaxing by the fireplace, playing games, and even tickling the ivories on the piano - it added to the homey vibe!Kudos to Casey, who quickly fixed our fridge issue - super responsive and friendly!We'd definitely return, especially in summer. The house itself is well maintained and if you forgot towels or even toiletries the host Sabrina has you covered. Sabrina is the one who makes your stay shine further - always accessible and highly responsive. Consider a visit if you are seeking quiet comfort, a drink by the wood stove fireplace, or a perfect landing spot that puts you close to the nearby destinations that found you there in the first place."

The Blue Elm is a very comfortable cottage and we loved the historic elements that were used. we completely enjoyed our stay there and will stay again when we return to the area to visit family. "We had an excellent stay at Black Bear Bungalow! The home is just as lovely as advertised and had every thing we needed for our time there. The space was clean and cozy, the skylights were an extra treat, and Karen was a great, communicative host. "

"My husband and I (and our pups) wanted to get away for a week and enjoy nature and we found this little place. It was perfect - close to so many hiking trails which kept us active all day. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and we appreciate all of the amenities like towels, tissues, paper towels, toiletries, kitchenware, etc. We brought our own stuff not knowing how much the house would have and we didn’t need to use any of our stuff :). The house allowed dogs which is hard to find and it was perfect. The house did not smell like dogs so that was great. Anyway, highly recommend!"
