"The property is forested and there is a lot of walking ,which we found to be refreshing, the aerial park was closed for cleaning so that was sad.the private beach access was also great.food was just as good as driving anywhere. We loved driving up and down the coast for day trips and returning to our room."

"This condo is exactly as listed. Unit is clean and comfortable. You have perfect access to the beach as the stairs down to the beach are right there. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and just relaxing watching the sunset every evening. For us it was the perfect getaway for our week to just relax and unwind. We will definitely be back to Glimmering Sands!!!"

"Our stay was Sept 17-Sept 21.We really enjoyed our time in Depoe Bay! We loved the short walk to the ocean and the quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Depending on your speed, it takes about 5-7 minutes to walk to the beach. There is the cutest little winding pathway down to the beach! A stairway at the end of the path down to the sand but, well worth the trek and marked very well on the beach for the hike back to the house.The location was also perfect for exploring the area, with Newport only about 20 minutes away and Lincoln City just 10 minutes away.The house had so many cute, personal decorative touches throughout, which made it feel warm and welcoming. It was exactly the right size for our family and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Seven adults, one youth and one dog. Our only suggestion would be to include the limited parking and strict HOA rules more prominently in the property description, so guests know what to expect before booking. However, we didn't have any issues with the HOA. In fact, we spoke with many neighbors and they were all very nice and welcoming! When we arrived the trash receptacle was full. Called the number on the fridge and they came out that afternoon and emptied the trash. The owner, Dan, was very nice to work with and very responsive to our questions. He must live on his email!Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming back!"

We were blessed with great weather. The area of the rental is very pretty and well maintained. Definitely a dog friendly area. Will recommend to friends."
