"We had an excellent time at the villa. It is perfectly secluded with beach front views and an easy few steps to an amazing beach. The only thing we would change is NOT going to Manuel Antonio because you can see nearly all the wildlife on/near the property. We had sloths, spider monkeys, scarlet macaws, and lizards/iguanas all around us. If you can tolerate the 3-4 hour trip from SJO, this villa is unmatched. "

"Our stay at this studio apartment was just what we hoped it would be. The location alone made it incredibly special - we were literally steps away from a quiet, secluded beach that felt like it belonged only to us. Being close to Manuel Antonio National Park was a huge bonus. We spent time exploring, and were amazed by the abundance of wildlife. I would recommend taking a guided tour - it really enhanced the experience and helped us appreciate everything we were seeing. Ron, the owner, was a great resource. He was friendly, approachable, and offered many helpful tips. My husband and I left with fantastic memories."

"This is a cute little property off the beaten path. Lots of tico places to eat in the area but you need a car. We don’t recommend the seafood place across the highway though. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread and condiments. The laminated note in the room about not getting sand in the beach towels was a little odd!"

"A beautiful home with a beautiful view! We were a group of 4 couples. The property provided plenty of space for our group, comfortable beds, a nice kitchen(s), a lovely pool, and a wonderful view of the ocean and islands of Manual Antonio national Park. The home and casita were as described, and the property managers were attentive and helpful. 4X4 vehicle is a must to access this property. There was plenty of room for parking up to 4 cars. The community felt safe. We would stay here again."

"This was our 3rd and final destination for our 8 day trip to Costa Rica! We stayed 3 nights in this cool homey 2 storey. The yard was incredible, we seen monkeys and a sloth right in the yard! Ron was the perfect mix of socable and giving us space. The gazebo was wonderful with lighting, a ceiling fan and great hamocks! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen provided us with almost everything we needed! The beach was right across the street and had beautiful sunsets, very few people, and amazing crashing waves! "

"This house is in a great location if you want to easily drive to the beach (Playa Linda or Matapalo), Dominical, and Manuel Antonio. The house is set back from the highway with a lot of green space, which is great for dogs, though the neighbors’ dogs run free (and came by a couple of times to pee on our car!). The house was mainly as described, with comfortable enough furniture and plenty of space outside, including a carport, which was helpful during the inevitable downpours of rainy season. There is just one AC unit in the kitchen, so the bedrooms get hot if the doors are closed. There is no microwave and just two short stools at the bar - no dining table. There’s a note telling guests to dump all food waste in a compost pit near the river (or you’ll be charged extra) but there was no compost bin to hold the waste and no signs pointing you to the pit. It was a fine enough place to spend a few days with our dogs visiting the area. "
