"This is a beautiful home located on the strand overlooking the beach. It's on the corner providing even more open area. The view from the second floor is magnificent. The location near so many great restaurants. The house is well stocked with utensils, coffee, tea, and many other of the comforts of home. The management is fantastic, very accommodating and responsive. All in all one of the best vacations."
"This is the 5th or 6th time we’ve stayed at this property and we plan to keep coming back! We stay on Balboa a couple of times a year every year and this is our favorite spot.PROS: - the location right on the boardwalk between the 2 piers- the unobstructed view of the ocean from the upstairs kitchen and living room- the parking, a spot in the garage and another in front of the garage- walkable to both piers, multiple coffee shops, restaurants, and surf shops- the property is very clean and everything is fully functional- new A/C works great in every room- the host, Chris, has excellent communication and is always helpfulCONS- if you want new and remodeled, the decor wil disappoint you"

"The best house to entertain in on the Balboa Island! And the location is AMAZING! The kitchen is STOCKED with anything you could ever need to throw a brunch, lunch, or dinner for a large family or group. There are so many places to sit and gather including TWO outdoor dining tables as well as an indoor one. The views are EPIC and the sunsets are Stunning! The decor has major character, but hasn't been updated in quite some time. Some rugs and furniture have seen better days, for example, not a bad thing necessarily just a real lived-in vibe to be aware of. There's also no A/C- which isn't a big deal at night but during the day it can get a real toasty if you don't open up all the windows. "
