The "Casa u Parmentu "originally a millstone, today has become a comfortable and cosy mountain chalet.Located a few steps from the striking lava flows dating back to 1865 and 2002, it has been renovated while maintaining the originality of the lava stone walls and finished in local chestnut wood. The wooden loft has been created to accommodate in one room 6 comfortable single beds, futon style, which can be transformed into doubles. The living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa bed and a flat-screen TV. The living area is furnished with a ceramic lava stone kitchen worktop, hand-decorated and fully equipped, equipped with a wood-burning stove that makes the place warm and cosy, electric oven, coffee maker, refrigerator and freezer,1 bathroom with shower and disposable slippers. The whole environment is equipped with windows(including bathroom). Outside the chalet, you can enjoy a large space, equipped with stone barbecue, benches and tables, relaxation area with deck chairs and hammocks. Private parking adjacent to the structure. Guests can take advantage of the vast forest, which surrounds the chalet. Following the nature trails you can get to the 2 historic lava flows where you can take your most evocative shots with the majestic Etna and its flows behind. You can enjoy free play area equipped for children, volleyball court, pinecone target shooting, ping pong table, table football and bowling green.

The forest, which has an area of 7 hectares, also has a large area used for organising weddings with civil rites, thanks to the presence of a natural "amphitheatre "in collaboration with caterers, and also birthdays, anniversaries, etc. In addition, it is also possible to organise outdoor picnic days, thanks to the equipped area with 11 cooking places, created in another area of the forest.
