This spacious apartment (140 m2 or 1500 sqft) in a 19th century building is a beautiful mix of traditional charm and contemporary style and comfort. Located in the neighborhood of Avendida, three minutes from the iconic Av. da Liberdade, a tree-lined avenue renowned for its high-end shopping, restaurants and theater district, it is considered the true heart of the city. A five minute walk from Marques Pombal and its metro station which offer easy access to the airport and train stations. This apartment has a western exposure and is flooded with natural light. It is located on a 3rd floor without elevator. Perfect for a working trip, long or short!

We compromise on having 1 day between reservations to assure to total disinfection and sanitation of all surfaces to guarantee your safety.

This home belongs to Rui Pimenta, a visual artist born in Lisbon and based in Toronto Canada.
This apartment has 3 double bedrooms one of them with the possibility of having one double bed or two single beds. The apartment is rented with towels and linen (for stays over one week, a weekly cleaning is included with change of towels and linen). It is also includes a welcome breakfast as well as olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment but you have a lovely balcony where you can do it.

We had a memorable stay in Lisbon and this home was definitely part of our immersion into the city. Sofia was very friendly and graciously put up with our last minute plans. The apartment was spectacular, with a lot of details that made us feel like home. Even though we were in the middle of the city, it felt peaceful and welcoming. We would definitely book again if we return to Lisbon.

My best friend and I had a wonderful stay @ Casa Pimenta during our 50th birthday celebration trip to Portugal! Sofia was an amazing host, warmly welcomed us when we checked-in and made us feel @ home immediately. She had fresh flowers in every room, breakfast and fruit/snacks items for us, recommendations for must see/do activities and even helped us arrange transportation from the airport which was so appreciated after a red-eye flight from the U.S. We loved being able to venture around every day and then come back to such a cozy and comfortable home to rest up for the next day. Highly recommend Casa Pimenta & so appreciative to Sofia for making such an epic trip even more special for us!! We’ll definitely be back!!

The apartment is lovely, the area interesting and convenient and the host is the best. Sofia started helping us immediately after the booking was confirmed by recommending transfer options. She assisted in resolving a communication issue after we landed. She welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know about the apartment, left breakfast food and always responded immediately. This was a great experience.

We received a personal, warm welcome from Sofia upon arrival and were provided with instructions and information about this beautiful property! Many unexpected personal touches which included fresh yogurt and fruit parfaits, granola, eggs, two loaves of bread, milk and butter (just to name a few!) How nice that we were able to start our days in Lisbon with such perfect selections provided by Sofia! One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve ever had!

A delightful base to explore Lisbon

Best hostess and lovely home

Sofia is the most wonderful hostess I’ve met. She is so caring, friendly and informative. She welcomes you as family and is available for any questions. The apartment has everything you need and is decorated beautifully. There’s also plenty of space and plenty of thoughtful touches. When I come back to Lisbon, I’ll definitely be booking here again.

Space away from the intense tourist area but still livel.

Good location between public galleries and restaurants off the beaten track. Portuguese restaurant Chuchu was a great find nearby. Plus the convenience of the well stocked supermarket at the end of the street. Small drawback was three flights of stairs but put us in good training for the hills of Lisbon .

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and the owner was awesome! She arranged transport to and from airport. We enjoyed the location and were able to walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. Uber was also very reasonable and how we mostly got around to further locations. The VRBO had everything we needed and we even had breakfast waiting for us when we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful stay

Want to feel like you are really living in Lisbon, right near a great supermarket, a few minutes from a central subway station, surrounded by lovingly curated works of art, cooking in a kitchen with plenty of pans and utensils, sleeping in comfy beds, and waking up to plenteous light in the beautiful dining and living room space? Then rent this apartment immediately. Delightfully quirky here and there but overall a real home. Sofia was a dream host, arranging transportation and answering every one of our questions quickly and helpfully.

Such a lovely spot. The reviews and pictures online were good, but ever the skeptic, I thought they might be overselling it. They. Were. Not. Thank you Sofia for your hospitality. Your mention that this was our home during our stay made us feel very welcomed. We did though go out much more than at home ;-) and enjoyed Lisboa and some of your and your guests restaurant recommendations. The apartment was dreamy. A gem in the city

A beautiful apartment centrally located within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, grocery stores. Felt comfortable in the uniquely decorated apt right away- even fresh bouquets of flowers. Public transit super easy and efficient. My family had the best welcome from Sofia- our host. She absolutely went above and beyond helping us arrange transport from airport, parking for our car, and left us goodies from her own garden! We all were blown away by her hospitality and kindness.

The perfect spot in Lisbon!

I loved this apartment so much, I didn't want to leave it on the last day. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of so many things. And it is so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Plus, we felt so well taken care of by Sofia. The check-in process was so easy, she met me at the apartment and showed me around. And gave me her number in case of any issue or emergency, which there never was because the place is wonderful! I would rent it again and again.

Great property in an up and coming area

Great property with loads of space and a balcony. The location is not bad, though is @15-20min walk to the main tourist area, but there are plenary of good restaurants @5mins walk nearby. Sofia, who manages the property, is so helpful with everything including sorting out a welcome breakfast which was lovely. Sofia also arrange for parking (paid) in a nearby garage which is a must and saved both money and time looking for a parking space.

Wonderful home base!

Our group of 4 came into town to visit Lisbon and enjoy a Taylor Swift concert. We had an unbelievable time in this spectacular city. The apartment is wonderful and Sofia is an excellent host! She has a wonderful tradition of asking guests to fill out suggestion books and those are a treasure trove of Lisbon, Sintra and Porto highlights! Make sure you give yourself some time to review these books. The cafe across the street is delicious and there is a supermarket right up the block that makes it super convenient! Loved our stay and are already planning our trip back!

Exceptional Stylish Apartment

Spacious, comfortable apartment on the third floor of a traditional building. Very well equipped kitchen and with the bonus of a generous welcome pack. Unfortunately we did not meet the host Sofia but communication with her, via WhatsApp was excellent. Instead we met Sonia, who was very charming and friendly and did an excellent job of introducing us to the apartment even though it was her own first visit ! Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment and exceptionally helpful host

We spent 3 weeks in Lisbon at this apartment and while the neighborhood isn’t in quaint old Lisbon, it is very convenient to the Metro and several bus lines. It is also possible to walk to all the key sites and charming neighborhoods such as Alfama, Bica, Baixa etc. The host, Sofia, is delightful! She is helpful, kind, and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is worry free. I give her the highest recommendation. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. It was a great base to discover Lisbon. A good supermarket is minutes away and lots of restaurants are within a short walk.

Stylish Apartment in a convenient neighborhood

This was the perfect place for our stay in Lisbon! Sofia is an amazing host and greeted us at the apartment and walked us through how it all works. She was also available during the stay if we needed anything. The neighborhood is less touristy so you get the true experience of life in Lisbon. It is two blocks to the metro station which allows you to get anywhere in the city. Plenty of restaurant options (go to Alto Minho) and a nice grocery store at the end of the street. The apartment felt larger than we expected with generous bedrooms, large kitchen and nice living area where we spend evenings enjoy local wine after sightseeing. There is also a huge hidden walk in closet in one bedroom to store luggage. We were able to do laundry as well so it helped us pack less clothes for the trip. Definitely the place to stay in Lisbon!
