"Had two nights here, staff really friendly and helpful, room was good and beds were comfy, had a nice meal there. Didn’t see much of Liskeard, but found some decent restaurants not far from the hotel. (I liked the restaurant “Himalayan Spice” which was a short walk from the hotel).

I wouldn't say it was a great place in itself as there isn't a lot there. That said, I enjoyed revisiting some old haunts. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting Cornwall, especially without a car, as rail service is decent and on mainline!
