"We stayed for a long weekend with our two miniature schnauzer’s and two teenage sons. We loved being right on the water, swimming, floating, fishing and just enjoying the water while sitting on the dock with a book. It is a little warm on August afternoons with no AC but there are fans and that was when we were outside mostly anyway. The kitchen has everything you need and bathroom was nice and updated. The stairs down to the boathouse are no joke but that is part of getting down to the water. The property managers were very responsive and the place was very clean. We had a great time and would love to come back!"

"There was dust on the furniture in the bedroom and dirty dishes in the broken dishwasher. I was told that someone would come and wash the dishes but that just never happened but the host communication was pretty good and they were responsive. There were so many spiders and spider webs on that beautiful deck; a good power washing would do wonders for that or at least a broom across the deck rails to remove the lower spider webs. The outside garbage can was pretty full as well but I was able to fit the garbage into the can.Other than these things this was a great private place to stay and overall the place was pretty clean on the inside. They had 2 folding bag chairs that if I had noticed earlier would have been helpful on a couple of occasions. Overall it was a very nice place to stay and once I cleaned the outside table and chairs that was a nice place to sit and watch the sunsets."

"We booked this gem of a property 2 weeks in advance. The communication with Andrea prior to our visit was excellent and Matthew was the most exceptional host ensuring our arrival was smooth and our comfort was assured. If I could give Matthew and Andrea 10 stars I would. With Canadian wildfire smoke impending they installed an AC unit in the living room and air purifiers in the bedroom. This beautiful quiet secluded property was just what we needed to connect with nature and each other. We enjoyed daily kayaking and fishing in the rowboat. Our teens enjoyed the swimming rafts at the beach. The site and sounds of the frogs, deer, and wildlife were the calm we needed. If you are looking for a great family property this is it! Thank you for sharing your family’s property with us."

"We had an amazing stay at this Lake Tomahawk lake house! It had everything our family needed for a relaxing and fun vacation. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out.The dock was perfect for tying up our Jet Skis and rental pontoon, making it easy to enjoy the lake every day. We also loved having access to the paddle boards, grill, and campfire, which made for some great family memories. The game room was another huge hit and kept everyone entertained when we weren't out on the water.Our whole family—including our dog—absolutely loved the house and the beautiful lake. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely love to come back!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd year at Loon Landing and already planning for a 3rd. We were notified of a refrigerator issue prior to arriving and a spare refrigerator had been put in just in case. The first refrigerator was operational but questionable. Upon arrival it was working but then the temp started to increase. The temporary fridge was quite small. We were able to put the perishable items in that one but desperately needed freezer space. I contacted Shane about the situation. He was very responsive and said they could have a chest freezer to us the next day. Which was wonderful. The location of the rental is perfect for us as we do a lot of fishing in the area and it has all the amenities we need along with plenty of space for everyone."
