"We really enjoyed staying at this great cottage in Lake Tomahawk. The communication with the owner is very good and the check in process / check out is very easy. Area is beautiful - the lake is very quiet, and the view is beautiful. Location is great as we went to Boulder Junction, Minocqua, Woodruff, Eagle River, Rhinelander and Manitowish Waters - all within 30 minutes.The cottage is small but very comfortable - very clean. Good storage for clothes in the bedroom. Kitchen seems to be well-stocked, but I do not cook much while on vacation! They do supply a lot of the basics (we always bring our own but there was a good supply at the house) of napkins, Kleenex, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.The outside is very welcoming. The deck is wonderful and there is a yard swing, benches and a nice fire pit. Outside area is well groomed. The walk down to the lake with small beach area is easy. We saw deer, heard owls at night and one night we were serenaded by coyotes ! There are a few "quirks" that the owner makes you aware of with using outlets and circuit breaker but we had no issues at all and used laptops, phones, hair dryers, etc. Wifi is good, can be a bit slow at times but overall it was good. We would stay here again without hesitation. "

The house had everything we needed— from the perfectly stocked kitchen to the available kayaks and paddle boat. "This was the perfect getaway for our family. We had direct access to the water (including dock, so our family could cruise by and grab us for a day on the lake!) The owners were very warm and welcoming, communicating with us before and during our time spent there to make sure everything was to our liking. I spent many days in the area during my childhood, and it was nice to see this former motel turned into such a cute upgraded property! Would stay again."
