Superior king room ...Coffee machine not working, bathroom ventilation not working, air con not working, heating not working (we are not feeling well after a cold night), access room at 16:30, no shower gel, no requested toothbrush and toothpaste, short time to enjoy spa and pool, staff speaking just english. Rude lady deputy manager. General manager not on duty and not answering my email.

At first glance the hotel is modern and efficiently run. The problem is the heating. Our room was quite cold . The radiator didn’t work and all the hotel could offer was a small plug in radiator which helped to reduce but not eliminate the cold room. Management need to fix this. We were not alone in this experience. It seems some rooms are affected more than others.

This is a most unsatisfactory hotel - we booked two rooms with twin beds in each but were allocated double beds and when apparently sorted out we found it wasn’t and had to wait again. The carpets in main areas are dirty and the rooms not sufficiently clean. I have a photo of the mould in the shower. Staff were either inept or surly - at breakfast the only table available was uncleared and we waited elsewhere to eat and then asked to move to the new table mid eating. All in all not to be recommended especially at this pricing.

Terrible hotel never again
No towels in room, front desk service on check was terrible the person who served tried to do multiple things at once with others and was completely distracted the whole time meaning checkin took three times longer than it should. Then when we wished to use the pool we were told it closed at 8.45pm so we go back to our room and head for straight for dinner only to be told the restaurant also shut at 8.45pm as did room service. The person in the bar who told us this on arrival at 8.50pm gave us no other options and couldn’t care less. The whole two nights we were there not served once by an Irish person as we had been at every hotel in Ireland for the past week. Would never stay here or at Radisson again. This was the worst hotel experience of our entire 6 weeks across Europe

Hotel was great, comfortable and clean, but a little car from the center of cork than we thought. But there was a great resturant The Barn not far from the hotel that was fantastic!

The hotel appears to be very nice, however … our shower leaked and flooded the bathroom, the blow dryer did not work, and our waitress in the hotel restaurant was not pleasant. Our food was delicious but unfortunately she ruined our experience.

Lovely, busy hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing. They never found our reservation and had to create a new one which made for a tricky check in but they were helpful and kind. This was a drive from Cork and was near to a forest and hiking trails.

The hotel is set back from the main road on a nice tree lined drive, close to shopping. We arrived early before our room was ready, so we left for a quick bite to eat. They phoned us as soon as it was ready. Front desk staff was very friendly, recommended a restaurant nearby that was amazing.

Excellent hotel and facilities especially as I had my 2 young boys with me for the night. Unfortunately they don’t have air conditioning and it was extremely hot in the room even with the fan going… I struggled to sleep and the boys were tossing and turning all night and woke early. If it isn’t a hot evening though the hotel is too rate!

Probably due to my insufficient research, but although the hotel was generally good, a range of things stopped it being great. Being summer holidays, the hotel was full of families with children. Not an issue itself, but there was nowhere to escape the noise, mess and disturbance of large numbers of small children. The staff appeared to be mostly trainees, so they were overwhelmed with the situation, and the mess remained until next morning in places. The few experienced staff were very helpful and capable but not always available to ensure everyone was getting good service. The rooms, again good, but are getting a little tired, and very hot with no airflow. Being well outside Cork, there was also nowhere within walking distance to go. So unfortunately not the usual experience from a Radisson Blue hotel.
