"Low price reflected in the basic rooms. TV and cable but no wifi. Good water pressure, air conditioners in every room, comfortable beds. Not all light fixtures had bulbs. Lots of parking, room for trailers. Several fast food outlets, convenience store within 5 minutes walk, gas stations within 5 minute drive."

"They told me it was a non -smoking room however, when we went into the room is smelled of smoke. They said they could not provide me with another room because they were fully booked. We tried opening the windows but the window screen was ripped and bugs were flying into the room. The carpet was old and needed to be vacuumed. They said they were not able to provide me with a refund or discount and that I would have to contact expedia for them to provide me with a discount or refund. Do not book to stay at this hotel."

"I stay in a lot of hotels and I’ve never written a review or walked out on a stay before this experience. It was so bad that we handed the key back and didn’t stay. Where do I begin? The smells (like cat urine), the drywall mud patches on the walls, dirty, terrible. I’ve been in touring bands for years, toured all over Canada and the USA (even oilpatch Alberta) and I’ve never seen a property this run down in my life. The owners refusal to refund my money or even offer explanation is wild. VRBO is refusing to help as well as Expedia passing the buck two and fro. You will get the runaround. This property is so desperate for your money that you will not get it back. Do not book this property. After speaking to some locals, we found out that the city of Renfrew pays this… “establishment” to put up the city’s addicts and unhoused for the winter. Avoid at all costs, especially if you have kids or you want to stay married. Had to book another hotel at extortion prices and lose my investment as well. AVOID."
