Room was in good condition. However, a big issue is is that the TVs did not work in bedroom or living room. In fact, the wires were not even attached. I called the front desk and eventually they got the living room TV to work. The front desk said they would call "engineer" to fix the TVs in the rooms. That never happened. It did not dawn on me when booking this place, that there will not be a traditional TV. Meaning we would have to stream from our phones. That's fine...except the wireless strength is crap in the building. It's lower vs. if we just used cellular. I get saving money with the TV to stream from our phones...but you should have decent wireless option for guests.

Clean and spacious, but it was very loud with noise from the outside.

Our trip to New Orleans was unforgettable, and I completely fell in love with this hotel. Maison Métier is truly something, every single detail was to die for. I was obsessed the moment we walked in, it felt moody, elegant, and exactly what I was looking for to make my fiancés birthday perfect. The decor alone is worth the stay — the brass accents, vintage-inspired fixtures, the stunning snake shower handle, glass knobs, arched doorways, and those charming little design touches everywhere you look. The bathtub ! I’ve included photos because words honestly don’t do it justice. Every corner felt intentional and full of character. We absolutely loved the gorgeous, moody speakeasy vibe downstairs The breakfast area was adorable and cozy, and the food was actually delicious. A huge bonus: they even let us borrow these adorable umbrellas, which made walking around the city feel even more charming. I don’t know how to walk without them. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Everything was so walkable, and the streetcar stop was right at the end of the street, making getting around effortless. One of my favorite things was how peaceful it felt. Even though we saw other guests here and there, it never felt overcrowded — it genuinely felt like we had the place to ourselves. The service and staff were exceptional: warm, polite, friendly, and incredibly accommodating without ever being overbearing. We will most definitely will be back.
