The room was very clean and well-organized. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. It is easy to get taxis to take you into Livigno if you do t want to walk. You will need to stock up on water or other food/drink items as there is not a market nearby.

The room was good but only one tiny window. The stall seemed helpful but we were advised that checkout was 9.30. On checkout day we were again advised during breakfast that checkout was in 5 mins. At 1000EU per night they could relax a bit and let us at least finish our coffee before trudging half a Km to the parking. Also the breakfast was good but constantly having to ask for a coffee refill got a bit old. Finally one bathroom for 6 people was not convenient

We stayed here during the Olympic Games and unfortunately would not recommend this property. The biggest issue is the location. It is very remote and situated high up a steep hill. When it snowed (which is common in Livigno), the road was fully covered and Ubers and taxis could not make it up. This meant a long, steep uphill walk in the dark on icy roads, including with luggage. It was stressful and very inconvenient. Unless you are prepared for repeated uphill walks in snow, this location is not practical. The room was also extremely hot. The property uses radiators, and it was not clear how to adjust the temperature, so we slept uncomfortably warm. Service was disappointing. Checkout was very early at 9:30am, and staff knocked on our door the minute it turned 9:30 to get us out. We paid an Olympic rate that was 3–4x their normal pricing, yet hospitality felt minimal. Interactions were short and transactional, and we felt more like a burden than valued guests. They could greatly improve their hospitality manners. I do appreciate that on our final morning, when there were no taxis available in town, the owner/manager helped call a coworker to drive us down the hill. We were grateful for that. Overall, because of the remote location, transportation issues, and lack of warmth in service, I would not stay here again.

Die Lage am Berg ist einzigartig und zugleich etwas schwieriger mit dem Auto. Einziger Minuspunkt sind die sehr wenigen und kaum vorhandenen Parkplätze. Die gebuchte Suite mit Whirlpool ist top!

Una baita tranquilla

La posizione al di fuori delle vie dello shopping ne fa una meta particolare per gli amanti della tranquillità, la si raggiunge in macchina solo per carico e scarico, poi si deve portare l'auto nei parcheggi sottostanti a qualche minuto a piedi (ma con un po' di dislivello). La camera dove abbiamo soggiornato è piccola, al limite dello spazio utile per muoversi, ma accogliente e calda. Buona la varietà dell'offerta a colazione e anche la qualità degli alimenti. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile Buona la connessione wifi. Unica nota negativa se proprio la si può definire così, sono gli orari per check in e check out, un po' limitati. Dalle 16.30 alle 18.30 per il check in e entro le 9.30 per il check out. Forse in piena stagione sono più flessibili, meglio chiedere prima..

Nicht leicht zu finden, aber es lohnt sich

Liebevoll eingerichtete und absolut saubere Zimmer. Sehr freundliche Leute. Leckeres Frühstück. Die Lage ist super, da man das Dorf Livigno nicht sieht, jedoch schnell erreichen kann um etwas zu Essen. Lediglich das WLAN war zeitweise etwas holprig. Am besten man gibt Via Canton ins Navi oder Google Maps ein (von dort aus gibt es Schilder), ansonsten findet man es vermutlich nicht, weil man in die falsche Straße geleitet wird. Livigno ist sicher eine Alternative zu den eher teuren Orten im Engadin, man fährt aber auch etwas länger, da man über die Berge muss. Der Ort selbst ist im Herbst nicht besonders hübsch, aber die Baita liegt etwas oberhalb, so dass man direkt loswandern kann. Das Benzin in Livigno ist sehr günstig.

Schönes Hotel

Das Hotel war etwas schwer zu finden und hat für Motorräder eine schlechte Abstellmöglichkeit, da es dort keinen geraden Untergrund gibt. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß, aber ein wenig dunkel. Adapter für die Steckdosen waren vorhanden. Das Badezimmer war sehr schön und die Badewanne sehr bequem. Allgemein war das Gebäude ein wenig älter, was mir persönlich sehr gefallen hat.

Generally a big disappointment

Family room Stua del Papa is absolutely NOT for more then two people! It is NOT a family room! There is romantic surrounding nature and the design of the house but that is all. Breakfasts are also OK. The window is NOT a window. It is a hole in the wall size of 30x50cm. Any people higher then 170cm will NOT be able to take a shower! The shower is shared! You are NOT allowed to park by the house. You have to walk 400 metres down the hill. If not, you have to strongly demand the entrance card to no entry way. No table in the room. Common room is closed all the time excluding breakfast. The surcharge 10 EUR/each hour if you arrive after 6:30 PM! The big disappointment!

Fantastic mountain holiday.

Baita Leluta was the cutest cottage with beautiful planter boxes full of petunias in bloom. It is a quick drive into Livigno. There are lots of hiking trails right near the front door. Great for mountain biking as weel.Beautiful view of the mts. Staff were really friendly & helpful.Everything perfect. Would definitely recommend staying here.
