Top Llandrindod Wells Hotel Reviews

The Talbot Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent staff. Managed by someone who has been working there for decades. Very good refurbished rooms and pub food; both are very good value. Located in a quiet village - the opportunity of lovely walks on the doorstep is a bonus."

Wellington
8/10 Good
"Nice room but unfortunately very poor parking. They were digging up Brecon high street which made it a bit inconvenient, but it was planned maintenance so just one of those things."

The Royal Oak Hotel, Welshpool, Mid Wales
8/10 Good
"Staff is very nice. Room is clean but not best quality and street facing room is super hot and noisy at night. "

Llangoed Hall
10/10 Excellent
"Utter gem. Glorious setting. The building is super old and has a lovely feeling of tradition. The staff were first class. Utter joy. "

The Burton Hotel and Cloud Nine
2/10 Terrible
"Extremely disappointed - spa and pool closed due to building work, not clearly stated on Expedia. Specifically booked for these facilities after a very long drive. Hotel needed updating and didn’t feel immaculately clean. Front desk was a mess. Paid £144 for one night in a room that felt like a Premier Inn room with a fridge added. Stains on carpet, no pictures or nice touches apart from robes and slippers. Sofabed looked tired and old. Cooked breakfast was good but continental had only mandarin segments - no other fruit and no choice of cereals or pasties. Dining room was bland and dark with no atmosphere - we asked to put music on as it was deathly quiet. Best thing was free parking in a lovely historic town and the shoe shop opposite which was a Sketchers outlet selling end of line with at least 50% discount. Thai restaurant a few doors down from hotel was excellent with outstanding food. Wouldn’t stay again. "

The Radnorshire Arms Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with good ensuite facilities at a great price. Restaurant has excellent dishes at good prices and the bar serves a good range of drinks again at good prices. A Continental Breakfast is included and there is no cooked breakfast option. The only drawback is the lack of a lift and one or two floors are a bit unveven but to be expected at over 400 years old.

Metropole Hotel and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"What a lovely hotel, staff were excellent. The hotel has a relaxing vibe and I would have no problem returning or recommending to anyway visiting the area"

The Castle Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic value hotel in a beautiful location. I can highly recommend this venue. Clean modern room recently refurbished to a good standard. Excellent shower and a free breakfast! "

The Riverside at Aymestrey
8/10 Good
"Lovely place to stay but probably for one or 2 nights. The menu doesn’t change and there are no “specials “ so you have limited choice if eating there each night. Breakfast good but the fruit mentioned didn’t appear.
The accommodation is up several flights of steps( we stayed with dogs) so your mobility has to be good "
