Anglesey is said to have been the last stronghold of the Druids. Indeed Brynsiencyn translated means "Jenkins hill". It is said to have been a focus area of druid worship. There are multiple standing stones and burial chambers in our local 5 mile area. And indeed we have paid our own homage to the Druid legacy of the island by placing a triquetra of slate standing stones - the Maiden, the Goddess and the Crone. Locally sourced from Blaenau Ffestiniog quarry..
Drive through the big green wooden gates to a magical wildflower corner complete with shepherds hut heaven . Enjoy the privacy and seclusion. A private family haven after a day of adventuring in North Wales.

AMAZING!
Absolutely loved our stay and didn’t want to come home. We arrived to a lovely welcome hamper from Gaynor which was a lovely added touch.
Huts are nice and warm even without the fires on. Everything was spotless and beds are nice and comfy.
Would definitely recommend to friends and hope to visit again soon.

Simply gorgeous
Thank you Gaynor for a fantastic stay in your beautiful lodge. It is in a lovely and private setting. You really have thought of everything. The welcome pack was amazing. Excellent selection of games, books and DVD's to entertain the whole family when we weren't out exploring. The lodge itself is lovely. A wonderfully relaxing break. Thank you. We'll be back.
The property was beautiful and Gaynor was really communicative and helpful. Contacted before and during our stay, provided details of places to eat or visit nearby, and there was Prosecco and chocolate on arrival too! The bed was extremely comfy too! The area is really quiet but has lots around so it was an ideal place to stay! Thoroughly enjoyed and may come back in future :)
It was excellent, it's great for 2 nights but would struggle with luggage if we stayed any longer which is fine as its was for a relaxing break which we got and there's a pub a mile away which was great
Gaynor is so lovely as is her property
She goes so far out of her way to make you feel welcome and comfortable the place is immaculate and the facilities are faultless we will definitely be coming back to this one again ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

There wasn't any storage to pack away our clothes or the food we had brought so that was a small issue. Could have been a little cleaner e.g hairs everywhere, cobwebs, and just a general once over. I would stay here again if there was storage. The hot tub was a beautiful added extra and the surrounding was perfect for a quiet break away. The host Gaynor was very welcoming and friendly.
My partner and I spent 4 nights here and we were not disappointed! For a reasonable additional cost we got the hot tub to ourselves for the whole stay and Gaynor had prepared it so it was ready on arrival! She had made up a hamper with local burgers, buns, cakes, as well as a bottle of non alcoholic Prosecco for me as I don’t drink! Very thoughtful! The hut itself is gorgeous and there’s plenty of space to park! We had an amazing time! The shower in the hut’s en-suite is powerful - very impressed! The price of staying 4 nights with sole use of the hot tub was an amazing deal! The only thing I would say in the negative was that there were a couple of cobwebs in the bathroom and main part of the hut but that’s a minor thing! Definitely book this place - you’ll have a lovely time!!! Thanks Gaynor!
We had wonderful stay here. Gaynor was an execllent host and had left us a welcome hamper for the BBQ, which was really nice touch. Throughout the stay she was available for any queries we had, and gave us tips on walks and things to see in the area. Walking from the site there was easy access to the village and to get to the beach, where there are a few really walks along the coast. The cabin was cosy and comfirtable for two and we definitely come back again.
Our little stay at the Taid Cabin was so relaxing. Before we even got there, Gaynor made sure to contact us and supply travel directions and was very kind. Gaynor gave us a Welcome Hamper including Local produce we could use upon arrival. 🙏 This was so lovely. The cabin was clean and the bed and pillows were so comfy I'm going to order myself the same 🤣! The shower aswell was top notch and very powerful! Our Hotub was so relaxing and I really enjoyed it. Gaynor also provided us with a bbq so we cooled sausages and burgers on it 😋. A birthday to remember. Thankyou so much Gaynor 💖
The hut was lovely, was met upon arrival and was welcomed and given all information needed. Location was nice not to far from shops and food spots. Overall was a lovely stay
Loved our Shepherds hut, thoroughly relaxing and mind calming surroundings. Even though we only had rain it was very tranquil sitting listening to the pitter patter of the rain on the roof, that and the birds singing. The local Walnut sour bread, sausages and bacon which were included in our welcome hamper were mouth wateringly delicious.... thank you Gaynor for your hospitality, we will certainly be back again 😊 x

A fantastic stay, we will be back!
We stayed here on the 18th-20th January with my 2 year old daughter and 5 year old son looking for a peaceful getaway whilst we had some house renovations on-going, Gaynor was very welcoming and brilliant at confirming our booking and sending over additional information to make our stay stress-free. Upon arrival Gaynor was there to greet us and pass over some info on the heating and other aspects of the huts and we were also provider with a lovely hamper from Hooton's homegrown which is a local producer and which gave us everything we needed for a great breakfast the next day.
The hut's themselves were well equipped with a wood burner, hob and fridge and shower and had everything we needed during our stay, the underfloor heating kept us cosy throughout the fairly cold weather, the kids loved it too with enough space outside for them to play. We are die-hard campers and used to roughing it in tents but a bit of luxury was most welcome during our trip.
Overall a great experience and a fantastic base to explore Anglesey, we will definitely aim to return later in the year.

Cosy, beautiful and peaceful
We have just had a lovely half term family holiday staying in these beautiful shepherds huts. They were immaculate and Gaynor was thoughtful and very accommodating.
The huts are set in a quiet peaceful area but you are only 10-15 minutes by car from lots of great places.
The kids enjoyed the adventure of the huts whilst the grown ups enjoyed the comfort!

Our most favourite place to be x
We have visited Llys Hafod for the past 3 years and all the family really do think of it as our home away from home.
The cabin is so cosy and comfortable and full of home comforts and thoughtful things for your stay. There’s a wonderful welcome basket waiting upon your arrival, robes in the bathroom and enough books, games and DVDs to entertain, even on the most windswept of days. Gaynor the owner is just one of the loveliest people you could meet and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is a good one. Nothing is too much trouble, it’s like staying at a friends to be honest.
Anglesey, is a beautiful island with so many fabulous places to visit, we pack our holidays to the brim but still haven’t been everywhere!
Having said that we do always reserve a day just for Llys Hafod where we can relax in our magical cabin in the woods and simply enjoy it x

Comfortable cosy and relaxing
The cabin was just lovely didn't want to leave. The goody welcome pack was very much appreciated as we arrived quite late in the evening. Gaynor, our host, went over and above and even let our daughter ride one of her horses! A holiday to remember for years to come. Thanks again Gaynor xx

Lovely location
The cabin was beautiful, great location, hidden away in the woods. It was quiet and peaceful and very relaxing. We also received some food items like milk, bread, bacon etc along with some cakes and biscuits for the children which was a really nice touch. The decor is lovely and it is very well stocked. The only downside was that it felt dusty, outside on the veranda cobwebs and dust littered the chairs and decking. Inside it also felt a little dusty - a natural problem from it being a log cabin I guess. The toilet also had some stains in, from not being used much I think as the cabin uses a septic tank, but it would've been nice to have it clean for our arrival! The bed and pillows were also very hard, but that could be us used to our soft mattress! Overall a lovely stay, just spoiled by a few minor niggles.
