Around 20 minutes by foot from the city center. Bus 2 minutes away. Parking 16 euros inside hotel. Would have been great; however, no air conditioner. Middle of April and no air conditioner? Called reception and was told central unit and heat was still on. Had a horrible night.

We did not know that the least expensive hotel in our trip to Spain would be our favorite. Our room was a suite, and the entire hotel has been updated to modern standards. Each staff member we met was so kind and helpful. The location is also fantastic. I could not recommend the Hernan Cortes Hotel more highly.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat
"We had a gorgeous view of the mountains. When I opened our window, I could hear the sounds of a small waterfall, and the chimes of the bells on the flock of sheep grazing at the foot of the mountain. It was idyllic."

"The hotel is grand, but the carpets and furnishings have seen better days. However, I would still recommend the hotel, as the room was large and very comfortable. "Lovely comfortable hotel within walking distance of Llanes. The car park was controlled by barriers using number plate recognition so felt safe and there were plenty of spaces. The staff were all very friendly."
