The good: the bed was comfortable, the products provided (soap, moisturiser, towels, loo roll etc) were very appreciated (I rarely pack my own soaps as it takes up space in my bags and adds weight). My favourite thing was the breakfast; it was incredible 10/10! The little light next to the bed was great & the charger too. If I needed a shower, the multiple shower heads & adjustability would have been fantastic as I hate not being able to reach certain areas. I loved having room service, never had it before. Very much worth it. The staff were lovely, polite and helpful.
Everything was high quality/standard. I would absolutely stay here again!
The neutral: loo roll holder was very loose on the wall, it needs fixing - room number 135 (it could easily be ripped off the wall with enough force or further damaged in an accident). One of the loo flush buttons didn’t work. Hand towels were too big and no flannels/face cloths. No separate light switches for the tea/coffee set area. It was either on with the main door light or off, so it was blindingly bright or very dark.
The bad (but NOT dealbreakers): the two chairs in the room were not comfortable and the wheels on the desk chair were very stiff.

Overall, a good experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities generally very good. Comfortable room and the housekeeping staff were great. Gym was adequate - could do with some free weights suitable for women - the ones there were too heavy to lift. Running machine was out of action all week disappointingly.
Area surrounding the hotel is not very pleasant especially at night and there is major construction work ongoing right outside the hotel.

Had a issue with a fraudulent charge they did which created a fraud with them canceling my card I had a asked reception she said no one had charged my card asked to speak to the manager stated I had a tour and was not available tomorrow to leave me a note when he would be available no response the next the manager stated he would pay for the taxi ride we get to the train station the driver said the hotel didn’t say anything we had to pay

"I think hotels com had booked us into an upgraded room but the staff queried this and asked us to pay for the upgrade. We stuck with a classic room which was unfortunately very noisy and over looked the carpark rather than the beach. It's a wonderful area and plenty of other places to stay ..."
