In the heart of Aviemore town centre so very convenient for all the shops and restaurants. Within easy reach of all the outdoor activities the town is known for. Pine Ridge Lodge - a lodge that sleeps 8 guests in 4 bedrooms

"Another great stay at Pine Ridge Lodge! Three generations now and well equipped for all, comfortable and spacious. Fab location, walks from the door, garden lovely for socialising and relaxing. Loved the different areas to sit in and catch the sun! Hot tub a bonus. Only downside was there was a lot of dog hairs on some of the throws and carpets in the bedrooms. Not ideal with a crawling baby. Couldn’t find a vac otherwise we would have tried to remove some. Nothing that would put us off booking again though."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only slight fault is that those working were extremely busy and so service was a bit slower. This is not unique to this hotel, we have found this in other places. Just a shortage of staff. But those there couldn't have done more to provide their service."

Fill the bird & Squirrel feeders to enjoy the local wildlife- very relaxing & people friendly holiday destination."

"We returned for a second time, after a lovely stay last year, for a family holiday. The property is really clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We had regular visits from red squirrels and a range of wild life. The secure garden was enjoyed by our grand daughter and the dogs. There are great walks right from the door, access to local cafes and a shop plus the opportunity to watch the steam train 6 times a day. We hope to return next year."

Earth House Scotland - Stunning Historic Fishing Lodge on the River Spey

"My family and I stayed at Earth House for a week long vacation in Scotland. The property is even more breathtaking than in the photos and videos. Our group included 15 people from age 6 to 74 and every one of us agreed that it was one of the most amazing locations ever visited. The house maintains a rustic charm while having the most up to date bathrooms, kitchen and appliances. We woke up to the sun rising over the Highlands with sheep baa-ing from the nearby farm. Aviemore was a quick drive away and provided running and hiking trails, coffee shops, restaurants and plenty of activities for the children. Day trips to Inverness and Urquart Castle were very easy. At Salem's recommendation, we hired Pauline, owner of Polipocketseats, to cook for the family. Her food was delicious and accomodated the many different tastes and preferences of our group. We ended each day as a family with tea by the fireplace.Salem was extremely helpful during our stay and answered all questions we had about the house and touring around Scotland. We miss the house already and I highly recommend Earth House to others!"
