"After a bad start - leaking tap in kitchen causing water puddle on floor - we were given another room, which turned out to be better, more compact, which suited us perfectly. We had a double studio with bath and washing machine as extras.
The bed in another room was perfect, comfy and a good size. A bit of a let down with the bed was when you leant against the headboard to read, the base moved forward every time.
The kitchen had all we needed for our 4 night stay, washing machine was old school but we finally figured it out. The dryer rack for that was perfect to put in front of the large windows to dry while we went out for the day.
The ironing board was very handy and the iron was clean (some hotels lack in giving a stain-free iron base).
The staff were friendly and helpful. They kindly gave us one free breakfast to compensate the plumbing issue. And wow, what a feast that was! So much choice, very fresh, perfect scrambled eggs, amazing!!!!! Thank you very much - you looked after us very well. It was all appreciated."
