I had been led to believe this was a quaint hill town community and home of Texas barbecue. In fact it is a rundown ghost town next to a busy bypass litteted with fast food outlets.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We came into town for a concert. It was very close by and we felt safe.

Very clean, quite and with an easy contactless form of check in. It is also in a very good location... walking distance from 4th & 6th Street. I didn't realize they DO CHARGE FOR PARKING. So just fyi to others.

The studio Haus felt very much like I lived in the neighborhood. The free laundry is an essential amenity when traveling- especially since I’d been traveling for over a week!
