"I started in an apartment room. It was very basic, in terms of decor maintenance and condition. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bedroom window didn’t lock. The bathroom smelt unusual and the floor in the kitchen space was pulling up by the sink. After my first night I spoke to the reception staff who moved me to another room. It could not have been more different, it was beautifully decorated, much more carefully maintained and most importantly for me the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of parking but the driveway in had some very aggressive pot holes that had to be driven around carefully"
