"The hotel is a good base for one night. We've used it many times. We rarely have dinner but we did this time and it wasn't very good, to be honest. The food wasn't very hot and they were very short-staffed so the waiting time was quite long. However when a member of staff asked us later on how the meal was, I just mentioned that it was so-so. She immediately offered the 4 of us a free dessert each which was quite unexpected. She must have been a supervisor to be able to authorise this. Well done!"
