The location is beautiful and peaceful — exactly what we wanted — but the service is not at 4-star level. Staff are kind but clearly overstretched. We were charged €8/day for parking with no alternative, which should really be included. Breakfast starts only at 8AM with no early option, and no water or coffee machine in the rooms. "The staff were very friendly and welcomed us verbally in and out of the hotel creating a calm atmosphere. The cleanliness was exceptional as windowsills and window casements were cleaned regularly. Floors were polished even though there is an inherent dust outside due to the dry environment all around.
