This spacious cabin, is custom designed with interiors that highlight the beauty that only Hocking Hills can offer. Applewood Lodge is located in a wooded location that's central to the local attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Take a soak and enjoy nature in the private outdoor hot tub with outdoor fireplace for the perfect couple's retreat or family getaway! Must be 25 years or older to rent. AWD/4WD recommended in all seasons.

We had an amazing stay! The outdoor living space allowed us to enjoy the Beaty of the location even in the wet/cool temperatures. Everything was extremely clean and fully functional too!

Wonderful Stay

The cabin was so cozy and welcoming! Everything was clean and organized, making for a perfect stay. We really enjoyed the wrap around porch and the fire pit area. Perfect for a family get away!

This cabin is in excellent condition and easily accommodates 4 adults. Clean and all appliances (including hot tub and gas grill) are in good working order. The first-floor plan is open and spacious, with a great table that could accommodate 12 or more people while also providing plenty of additional counter space. The fire pit is an especially good amenity as it is spacious and easily accessible from the front porch. The photos and listing are accurate. Host was pleasant and communicative. We plant to return to this location next year.

Quick family trip

Stayed here for just one quick night before a wedding. The property was excellent with plenty of room for everyone! Kitchen was well stocked and the patios were perfect for just hanging out. Very nice place would stay here again!

The cabins location...close enough to touristy things but not on a main road to where there was much traffic. It was relaxing and the cabin provided the amenities that were needed

My family had such a good time, the cabin was amazing and very clean when we arrived.

The cabin was in a nice quiet location, we loved the hot tub and the pool table! The fire pit was awesome, at night we turned the outdoor lights on and roasted marshmallows on fire for s’mores. Cabin is not far from trails about 10-20 minutes drive.

We had a great stay. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. The door to the basement rooms was locked when we got there, and someone was there within the hour to unlock it. Very happy we picked this place.

Cozy retreat

Property is clean and roomy. It’s conveniently located. We stayed for 2 nights for a weekend getaway. It did snow while we were there which was beautiful but it did make the driveway area slick as it’s pretty steep. Crews cleared the road by the next day.

Family Long Weekend

The Applewood Cabin was amazing. We are a family of 5. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table,and outdoor fireplace. Great spot and just what we were looking for in a cabin in the woods. Nearby Hocking Hills State Park was beautiful! Bring fans or noise machines as the walls are thin and noise travels through the walls and floors.

Winter wonderland

Stayed 3 nights at Applewood during the recent snow/ice storm but were warm and cozy in this roomy lodge. Communication with the property manager was prompt, and responsive to our needs. The place was clean, and well supplied. Can’t think of any negatives!

Fantastic long weekend!

Applewood Cabin was a fantastic place to stay for a long weekend! Extremely clean and comfortable. We felt at home instantly. Loved the large dining table not only for meals but for game playing. Fire pit and lights made evenings extremely enjoyable. Finished basement provided another area to hang with the family and play games. Worth every penny!

Celebration of Life

Absolutely perfect! Spent last 10 months fighting for my life due to 2 types of cancer..still have alot of issues. Needed an adult getaway with hubby and two children and their spouses. Other than pollen and dust on the outside furniture and porches, the dwelling was immaculate and so pretty. We had five in our party and we had so much room. Actually, we could have doubled our group and been comfortable. This was a birthday celebration and simply some time away from home. Will do it again!

Beautiful & Clean cabin

This lodge was absolutely perfect for 7 of us. The only hiccup we had was when we arrived the electronic keypad didn’t work. I called the number that’s provided during booking and within minutes I had a code to the manual lockbox attached to the house. The house was very clean, we had plenty of room, and they provided all the bedding, towels, hand soap in every bathroom and kitchen was well equipped. They provide a coffee maker so I brought my Keurig. The outdoor grill and hot tub worked well, and hot water was almost instant. This lodge is located between shopping (Kroger and gas) and Hocking Hills State Park, so for us it was the perfect location. I highly recommend. We will be back!

Beautiful cabin, great location near Hocking Hills.

Cabin is beautiful and clean with bedrooms and bathrooms on all three levels. Kitchen has just about everything you will need. We did bring our keurig as we prefer it to a reg coffee maker. Our group had 7 in it, adults and teens. Everyone had their own space to relax in. The large table was great for meals and games. Location is good, 10 mins from just about anything you want to do in Hocking Hills. We had a question before arriving, called the owner and received a quick and helpful response. Only two very minor issues we noticed. Due to the wood floors and walls, and the high ceiling, noise really travels. You can hear everything going on from almost anywhere (voices, footfalls, creaking, the tv etc). So if part of your group goes to bed before others, they may want to bring ear plugs. None of the bedrooms have an attached bathroom, so depending on the size of your group, you'll most likely be sharing. Aside from those very minor issues we had a great stay and would definately recommend this cabin to anyone visiting Hocking Hills!

We Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was really nice and clean. We really liked using the fireplace right by the hot tub especially with the nights being cooler. We would stay there again.
