This log cabin chalet has an outdoor hot tub and a swanky indoor sauna. Situated in a grassy clearing surrounded by woods. Bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed, downstairs bedroom has two queen beds. Two full baths. Full kitchen (stainless steel refrigerator, full size range, microwave, coffee maker and toaster) with new high-top dining table with four stools. Vaulted ceiling with skylights makes the cozy space bright. Wood floors; porch swing; gas fireplace (seasonal); charcoal grill; satellite TV, DVD player and WiFi. Pet friendly. INCLUDED All of the Chalets include: a scenic setting; outdoor hot-tub; fireplace and grill; kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware; satellite TV with DVD player; bed, bath and kitchen linens with Bath & Body Works soap and a supply of dish soap; toilet paper; access to the guest pool; central air conditioning and heat. SITE Black Jack – Hocking Hills is located off of State Route 664, on the Chalets’ 140-acre campus – just up the hill from the guest pool (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) and Chalets’ front desk. Great stay with one exception

Place was great and seemed extremely clean. Unfortunately 2 out of 3 of us ended up with staph infections from the hot tub so it seems the marketing that all tubs are drained and cleaned before every visit doesn’t hold true. Otherwise everything else was great.

Wonderful getaway

Immediately upon arrival, I was blown away by the cleanliness of the cabin... I am one that normally cleans before we settle in, and not one area of this cabin needed re-cleaned! The cabin itself was a perfect size for our family of five, plus a dog... My boys had a tremendous time exploring the property and playing in the small little stream right outside... Would definitely stay here again!!

Checking in was easy, communication was good. Losing electricity for an hour and a half in the middle of the night and my husband uses a c-pap was a little annoying.

Three Night Stay

The cabin is nice. The hot tub is super easy to operate even though the far side of the cover is hard to open and close based upon where the tub sits on the deck. Inside, there is only one couch, and one chair in the family room. And then you have six very uncomfortable stools around the kitchen table. All in all, a nice place to stay for a short weekend.

Not real happy camper

the cabin was dark and small, especially the upstairs bathroom and bedroom; we did not have comfortable chairs at the dinner tables; they were metal chairs with no legitimate back for support and too tall for people under 5'6". The wifi was not existent and caused problems as we had friends staying in a nearby cabin with whom we could not communicate. They had to come and get us rather than call us for various activities. We were not happy having directions there before the morning of the checkin; we were already "on the road" having spent a few days at another vacation site before arrival, and the lack of an address prior to our arrival coupled with the lack of GPS signal for our google maps meant a lot of driving around up and down the highway to find our friends and other locations of activities.

Overall, family really enjoyed the stay. Great location, amenities, check in/out, newly paved access road. WiFi extremely slow with regular dropping.

Our Vacation

The cabin was nice & housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning. It was smaller than the pictures but still enough room for 5. We had no phone or internet in cabin for the first night but it was fixed by our second night. It was kinda tricky backing out of the driveway. Overall it was a great stay and we would like to come back sometime.

Great location!

Downstairs bedroom area very spacious but the lower porch was unkept and the stairs are very noisy. The living area is very nice and the upper porch has a great porch swing and very nice hot tub. All and all a good experience and would recommend.

Amazing cabin
