Seabass Retreat in Hocking Hills

Welcome to The Seabass Retreat! This cabin sits on 5 acres centrally located in the heart of Hocking Hills, conveniently located 14 minutes from Old Mans Cave and 10 minutes from downtown Logan.

Key Features:
-Wrap around porch – big enough to sit out when it’s raining out
-Views of serene nature – lots of deer and turkeys!
-Fully stocked kitchen
-Bed linens and bath towels
-Propane grill (propane provided)

The cabin offers two private bedrooms and one open loft room, all with queen beds and secluded views. There are two full bathrooms, one with a shower only and the other with a tub/shower combo.

The driveway is accessible by all types of cars, including the winter months.

A guest book is provided with all information about the cabin and area. We will be happy to assist you with any needs you may have during your visit!

Great place to stay

Great place to stay. There was plenty of space for our family of 5 adults and one infant. We were comfortable the whole time and easy access to the state park and stores.

So much room for the kids to run and play, the bed was super comfortable, kitchen had all the amenities we needed, for ring area was great for our marshmallow roasting and the best part is the Amazing balcony porch!

We truly enjoyed our stay! It was quiet, had all the amenities listed, and it was so clean. Would just recommend including more necessities in the cabinets like oil, salt and pepper, sugar etc.

Cabin is very well maintained, clean, and stocked with games, utensils, a helpful packet of local suggestions for anything you might be looking for. Beds are comfortable and the whole cabin was beautiful. The porch and outdoor areas are fantastic and the fire pit was a great bonus. We enjoyed our stay and will be back! I’ve already recommended Seabass Retreat to another friend planning a trip to HH!

Tranquility at its finest!

This cabin was tranquil and perfect! It was clean, well stocked, and the perfect sister (and teeny niece) getaway!! We fit very comfortable in the three bedrooms, and the property with a huge porch was the perfect setting to feel like we were on a private getaway. Close proximity to Hocking Hills State Park and an adorable coffee shop too! We will be returning!

The pictures match exactly what to expect. Very clean cabin! Entertaining things to do around the area, Old Mans Cave was a sight for sure and only about 15 mins from the cabin. Would recommend to anyone I know! Owners are very kind and generous

Loved the outdoor space and great kitchen . So many outdoor activities (and winery!) close by , yet still felt secluded . Rooms were spacious and really liked mini splits in each room so I could control temperature in bedroom at night . Owners thought of everything! Clean and was easy rental in and out ❤️ Def will become one of our annual stays

Great weekend getaway!

This was the perfect getaway spot for our girls trip! The cabin had everything we needed and we can’t wait to make a trip in warmer weather to fully utilize the outdoor spaces! The space is as advertised and maybe even nicer in person than the pictures. I know we will be back as a group but many plan to make a separate trip to bring their families and children. The cabin is close enough to everything you’d need while still having that tucked away, secluded feel.

Seabass Retreat is absolutely breathtaking. It is well maintained, gorgeous interior/design, very comfortable beds and super soft bed sheets! You feel secluded, but also close to everything you need. Easy drive to the caves, restaurants, Kroger, etc. The only downside (which for anyone without toddlers/babies is not a big deal) was the basement door and the bedroom door on the first floor do not latch closed. This made "baby/toddler-proofing" a bit challenging. Otherwise, everything was perfect!
