"Our entire experience was 10/10. The cabin was super clean with great kitchen (no oven though). The staff was excellent (especially Ben, the boss)! The location was perfect. It is extremely close to the park, like 2-4 minutes drive; it is also close to grocery store, restaurants, mercantile and sundries. The Cabin Village is safe, and walkable with stuff to do for families and very accommodating for elderly parents. Though we did not have pets, the Cabin Village and RV park were very accommodating to pets. There were a lot of friendly dogs (and owners) who loved to say hi!"
"Stayed in the westside rooms, facing the road.
It’s a single room, with bathroom.
Very Clean room , comfy bed, but NOISY!
The walls are really thin, so you hear your neighbors easily. You will hear showers running and toilets flushing.
Just across the street from the main lodge, so easy to get meals, drinks, do some souvenir shopping.
Super bonus: the Red Bus tour picks up at the lodge, and you can walk to the GNP gate.
Parking is just outside your room, and you hear all traffic going by.
Great location, especially if you are going into the park!!!
Get a room in the lodge if possible."
"Great property for surroundings and quaintness. The room was tiny, parking was limited, and the chalet does not have an elevator, so we had to carry our stuff up & down narrow stairs. Great 'niche' lodging--just lacking the conveniences (elevator, floor & bathroom space, coffee pot/microwave/fridge) of a chain hotel."
"A fantastic little resort just off West Glacier. Everyone at the resort was so chill and easy. We also did a white water rafting trip, and had a blast. Highly recommended."
"Highly recommend Glacier Guides Lodge for your stay in West Glacier. We’ve visited 21 national parks so far and have stayed at a variety of accommodations near the parks and I will say this is definitely going to be a favorite. It’s close enough to the park that you can easily get to the entrance, but also far enough away that it still felt peaceful and super quiet. The rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable. There is a complimentary continental breakfast and we loved the sitting area outside our room. On one night we grabbed a pizza and bottle of wine in town and enjoyed sitting outside in the cool mountain air to relax after a day of hiking. Overall a 5/5 stay!"
Rustic 2 Bedroom Cabin, 2 Baths, Sleeps 4, 2 Minutes From West Glacier
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay! The host greeted us and was quick to reply to questions and issues that occurred during our stay. The property was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again if we return to visit Glacier National Park. Thank you!"
"Cabin #20 on Lake McDonald is an absolute gem! We had great communication before and during our stay. Glacier National Park has so much to offer and its beauty will blow you away! It was magical to wake up to its views each morning and a perfect place for our family to spend the week. The cabin is well equipped and having a washer & dryer was a plus! Morning coffee and evening dinners on the boat deck were so sweet, too! I highly recommend booking early and expect to have a memorable time at Cabin #20!"
