Everything was clean. What stood out is the modern technology. It took a second to figure out certain things like the shower and the lights but it was refreshing and new. We loved everything about our experience. We’ll be coming back for the Rooftop restaurant.

Muriel at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous, wonderful historic art deco building right on Michigan Ave., great location and views, really nice, spacious and clean room. Chateau Carbide on the 24th floor is definitely worth checking out, nice cozy areas to hang out, sit on a couch and have a drink while enjoying great views of the city. We also got a free ride from the hotel to the Shedd Aquarium.

Clean room very nice staff.

The hotel is nice. Not luxurious, not fully equipped, but well located. It is definitely understaffed since the same person handles the front office and the breakfast/drinks in the morning, and the front office and bar in the evening. But they manage well and are extremely nice. Shoutout to Marina who was very helpful. It is rather clean, though we had to request our room to be cleaned on the 2nd day as they hadn’t done it on the first day. The breakfast options are not great, only 5-6 options are available and they’re all pastries. They have some fruits as well. Overall the stay was good but I wouldn’t go back.

From beginning to the end my stay was a 10/10. I only stayed one night but that one night was worth it.
