"This is student accommodation that's available to the general public when university is not in session. As such it's pretty basic - bed, desk, wardrobe, bathroom (shower) all in a quite small room, although the shower stall is good sized. There's a lounge area next to the reception with free coffee (instant) and tea, and a couple of interior courtyards with some seating. The staff is friendly and helpful and the location is great, about a five minute walk to the Grand Parade with a bakery and Centra on the way."

"There are two Maldrons in Cork. I booked the wrong one. Once noticed the front desk staff was so helpful and contacted the other and got us switched seamlessly. I did not have to do any leg work. Both locations were beautiful and in convenient locations."

"The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. The facilities were immaculate with amenities unexpected (free self laundry, nice workout facility); the breakfast was especially satisfying.. location and walk ability were ideal. I highly recommend this great and affordable option when in Cork."
