"An amazing property, just a short walk to the beach, and a less than 10 minute drive into Long Beach proper. The house is prepared for family - 2 well equipped bedrooms, a clean and tidy bathroom with linens, a solid collection of cooking tools & basic supplies. We needed a resupply of dish soap and it was provided by the end of the day. There was wood for the indoor insert and the solo stove outside. There are outdoor blankets and towels for people and pets and even toys for kids and dogs. Even though pets are allowed, there was no evidence by fur or smell. The hot tub was easy to use. There is a big TV but you either watch the DVD's (a small but wide collection) or bring a laptop/device to stream.It was quiet, peaceful and just what our group of 4 adults needed. "

"What a gem, from the very warm reception to the GREAT mattress, very clean and well-appointed room. A goodie-basket for the dog. Right next to the little downtown of Long Beach, which is adorable and not trying to be it's older, hipper sister Astoria. Definitely our place to stay when we come back. "

"The staff were all so friendly and accommodating to our stay: from Cynthia who answered the phone when I had some booking questions and set the room up special for our labradoodle to feel at home, to Roger who greeted us at our arrival and showed us around the property so that we could enjoy the outdoor fire pit and happily allowed a late check-out, to Patti who cheerfully cleaned before and after us! We had an awesome stay and will be back for sure! "

"Friendly staff especially the breakfast room attendant. Hotel well maintained. Walking distance to almost anything. Only word of caution is this is a VERY pet friendly hotel. They tend to put those traveling with pets on the right side of the first floor. Can you guess where we stayed? Had to sleep with window open all night. Very heavy pet smell. We own a dog but this was a bit much. Next time we are back, we will request a room anywhere else."
