"Great resort in Long Beach outside of city but within easy drive and walk to many restaurants and attractions. Exceptional room with view, staff very personable and accommodating. Enjoyed the restaurant for drinks and dinner and have no significant issues with our stay. Really excellent venue with great ‘beach’ pool and views. I would recommend better in room, heavy towels for this caliber hotel. Our initial room did not have a view, actually looked out to a ‘garden’ tree which if we had stayed longer also would have been overview of a wedding. We booked via 3rd party which is maybe why room did not have view and management could have easily comped our upgrade as it was special occasion and hotel not fully occupied however we do understand bottom line. Lobby staff were helpful and extra nice for checking-out with clean spacious rooms and spectacular grounds. There are not many places near the hotel for snacks and the lobby has limited and pricey options, so stock up on your way. Self- parking fee is a bit much. Highly recommended staying here if in the area."
