This is an epic spot in the forest that is indescribably beautiful. The hike in also passes by the Chattooga River at a very beautiful spot. All in all, the 5 mile round trip hike required to view Opossum Creek Falls is well worth it and highly recommended. Lise was very helpful. She gave us ideas of things to do before we got there, answered all questions. The cabin is adorable and very clean. It is way up on a mountainside. The view in the spring must be amazing withe mountain laurel and rodedendron.
