Charming 2-bedroom cabin in beautiful mountains of Pickens, SC.

"Rhonda was a great host and her recommendations for restaurants and falls in the area were spot on. Cabin was clean and had everything you would need. Loved the rocking chairs and swing on the porch. Rhonda shared eggs from her chickens and left some perfect snacks for arrival and to take along for hiking or boating excursions in the area. I wish the water pressure for showering had been higher."

"Wonderful, quiet and comfortable stay at the little farm house. Was perfect for our family weekend gathering to celebrate my mom's birthday! We enjoyed grilling burgers on the back porch. Ate at the large table. Chilled out on the front porch in the evening. Hot showers for all of us. The dogs loved the big yard."

"Pros: The house was conveniently located near Lake Keowee and Jocassee, which was where we spent most of our time. Was also great to have a parking pass to local state parks. The house was well furnished and comfortable, Plenty of beds for large families/guests. Easy check in & out, good communication with host. Overall clean. Cons: The highway noise from traffic was quite loud, esp at night while sleeping. We had trouble with the large dogs next door coming up to the house and scaring our dogs/children. They did not seem friendly as they were barking with their hackles up. They also "marked" on things left outside and our vehicles."

"Overall we had a good stay. The cabin itself was clean, towels were provided in the bathroom. Check-in/out was contactless and went smoothly. The cabin is on the same property as two other rental buildings, which wasn't a problem for us. Be aware that the queen bed is extremely soft (I'm usually not picky but I'm glad I was the only one on it). I tried to contact the host to double check that I had the cancellation/refund date correct (I was struggling to find it again after I booked) due to weather concerns and I got an AI response. I was not going to be upset if someone had just replied "it is too late for a refund", but I didn't even get a human, just basically AI spitting my words back at me. This is their business and not just their personal vacation joke they are renting out, so I would expect a bit more. Overall decent for a budget stay."

"My family had a blast! The home is stunning. Location is dreamy. Reminded me of how I grew up. The falls we walked to every morning. The kids skipped rocks for hours. We saw the lakes. Made s'mores and a fire with the running creek. Views are wonderful. Our dog had so much fun. Very family and dog friendly. Roads are a very fun drive. The house has anything we needed. Towels. Wash. SHARP knives. Even my parents loved it and took a little trip so see my father in law. It was a wonderful reset and time. Thank you so much for having us in your home and sharing this little gem. Only downside of this trip was having to leave."

"We had the best time staying here! From the moment we booked, Ray was incredibly responsive and helpful. Before we even arrived, he answered all of our questions, and after check-in he was quick to help us figure out where to park our boat. He explained the best marina to launch from and gave us clear directions on where to park our trailer and what slot to dock our boat, which made everything so much easier.The house is even more beautiful in person and was spotless when we arrived. We had two families coming together from North Carolina and Illinois — a total of 10 adults and 1 child — and everyone had plenty of space to spread out without ever feeling crowded.The neighborhood’s private marina is about a 5 minute walk from the house. There are a few hills along the way, so be prepared for a little walk, but it’s absolutely worth it for the convenience and beautiful setting.One of the coolest parts of our stay was seeing wildlife around the neighborhood—we spotted a black bear outside the gate and several deer during our trip!We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family vacation and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"
