Amazing Lake Keowee Home! Private Dock, Fire Pit, and Bunk House by the water!

"This property was just as the other reviews stated. Clean. Well equipped. Beautiful. Communication with the owner- EXCELLENT! We even rented his daughter’s boat and her communication was just as quick! I can’t say enough great things about this place! We rented this house as a girl’s weekend getaway so four of us drove over from Indiana to meet my daughter who goes to Clemson. It was everything we had hoped for! We even had a private chef sent over by a friend one of mine one the evenings to cook for us in that large, gorgeous kitchen. There are amazing hiking trails within a 7 to 9 minute drive and other than leaving for that we spent the entire weekend at this home. We played cards we listenedto music we cooked good food and we just had a perfect weekend."

"What a beautiful place when we walked in. Fell I love with the cabin and the atmosphere of the seclusion of the area. I was so happy to here it belonged to the family from generations past and we were helping them maintain the cabin from our booking. Was there for our Fathers funeral so coming back to the cabin helped with processing it by the beauty around us. I would recommend this to everyone who needs a place that really makes you feel at home. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home Marie Cox from Florida"

"This was a very cool space that my family loved. The younger children especially loved the loft area. It was super clean and for a tiny house, it lived large. Very happy with our stay!"

"Pros: The house was conveniently located near Lake Keowee and Jocassee, which was where we spent most of our time. Was also great to have a parking pass to local state parks. The house was well furnished and comfortable, Plenty of beds for large families/guests. Easy check in & out, good communication with host. Overall clean. Cons: The highway noise from traffic was quite loud, esp at night while sleeping. We had trouble with the large dogs next door coming up to the house and scaring our dogs/children. They did not seem friendly as they were barking with their hackles up. They also "marked" on things left outside and our vehicles."

"We had the best time staying here! From the moment we booked, Ray was incredibly responsive and helpful. Before we even arrived, he answered all of our questions, and after check-in he was quick to help us figure out where to park our boat. He explained the best marina to launch from and gave us clear directions on where to park our trailer and what slot to dock our boat, which made everything so much easier.The house is even more beautiful in person and was spotless when we arrived. We had two families coming together from North Carolina and Illinois — a total of 10 adults and 1 child — and everyone had plenty of space to spread out without ever feeling crowded.The neighborhood’s private marina is about a 5 minute walk from the house. There are a few hills along the way, so be prepared for a little walk, but it’s absolutely worth it for the convenience and beautiful setting.One of the coolest parts of our stay was seeing wildlife around the neighborhood—we spotted a black bear outside the gate and several deer during our trip!We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family vacation and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"
